Colored Pencils :
This was a painting to express a set of glass bottles. It contained a mood of silence.
Colored pencil is a new collage media. 20 years ago, it seemed that many artists didn’t use colored pencil. Nowadays, it’s common to find many people use colored pencil as a drawing tool.
A bottle and glass of red wine is in front of a curtain. It was my first painting using colored pencil.

Oil lamp, cage contains a feeling of old fashion. I used the yellow and purple as a background in order to give the picture a sence of harmony.
Watercolor is one of the collage media which requires a lot of skill.
Glass bottle is one of the most difficult things to portray since it’s composed of countless faces.

The Gundam series is one of the most popular animation in Japan. Dom is a classical character in this series.
Watercolor is the best choice for flower portraits. Because we can use “Wet in wet” to draw the petals.
Animals are also very hard to portray. I used “Drybrush” to compose the horns of this animal.

Ink painting is a art medium which is an Chinese type painting style.
Therefore, I have drawn this picture so many times. These are the two which I liked the most.

I’m going to design a Corporate Identity for a flower tea cafe which is an expansion from COVA. COVA is an expert in pastry, cake making. COVA already has nine outlets in Hong Kong.

Summary : Fine Arts v.s. Commercial Arts
Fine Arts : Fine Arts is a way to express a artist’s feeling. Fine Arts is abstract and imaginational. We can express ourself by art. However, it can’t be used for design widely since art has no time constraint, but design has a deadline usually.
