What is the Method to Disable Telemetry in Window 11?

Telemetry is basically the procedure which collects data at remote locations and then transmits back to the parent. Method to Disable Telemetry in Window 11: 1. Turn off Optional Diagnostic Data: For this, you should press the Windows key + I simultaneously to open the Settings app and then navigate to Privacy & security which is followed by Diagnostics & feedback. Now just under the Diagnostic data section, you should check Send optional diagnostic data is switched off. After this, you should go back

to Privacy & security and then select Activity history option. At this point, you should uncheck the box for Store my activity history on this device and then visit to Speech and then hit on Stop contributing my voice clips. At last, just under the General panel, you should switch off all the options which collect the user data and then send it to Microsoft.

2. Use Registry Editor: First of all, the user should press the Windows key + R altogether to open the Run box and then type in regedit and then tap on Enter key. After this, you should go to the below path just by copy and paste it in the search bar which is located at the top: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\DataCollection Now in the right panel, you should right-tap anywhere and then select New and then choose DWORD value (32-bit) or you can select the 64-bit option for 64 bit system. Here, you should name it AllowTelemetry, and then just double-tap on it and then set the Value data to 0. At last, just Restart your computer so that the changes take effect.

3. Use services.msc: The user should press Windows + R keys together in order to open the Run command window. Then in the Run command window, you need to type services.msc and then hit on OK button. Here in the Services window, you should scroll down and then double-tap on Connected User Experiences and Telemetry.

The user should disable Connected User Experiences and Telemetry just by setting Startup Type to Disabled. At this point, you should hit on Apply to make changes.

After this, you should find another service just by pressing Ctrl + F keys altogether and then type dmwappushsvc and just double tap on it. At last, you should disable the dmwappushsvc service just by setting the Startup Type to Disable and then hit on Apply option.

4. Use Task Scheduler:

The customer should open the Start Menu and then type Task Scheduler in the search bar and then hit on it. Then in this tab, you should right-tap on the task named Consolidator and just disable it. It is suggested you should repeat the process with all other tasks which is in this panel: Task Scheduler Library which is followed by Microsoft and then go to Windows and tap on Customer Experience Improvement Program.

5. Use Group Policy: First of all, you should open Group Policy with the run command. And then you should tap on Windows key+ R key at the same time to open the Run box and then type gpedit.msc. After this, click on OK button or Enter key. It will open the window of Local Group Policy Editor. Now, you should go to the below destination: Computer Configuration which is followed by Administrative Template and then hit on Windows Components and then go to Data collection and Preview Builds.

Here, you should double tap on the Data Collection and Preview Builds and then you will view the options which are on the right side. At this point, you should double tap on Allow Telemetry and then hit on Disabled option. At last, tap on Apply option in order to apply the changes.
