Welcome to Ironworks Studios, a multi purpose production and event space incorporating Brighton’s only TV studio theatre with audience facilities just a 5 minute walk from Brighton station

Brighton’s unique TV and video studio production facility with live audience facility for up to 180 people

Ironworks Studios has multiple video production studios and flexible-use spaces available for live streaming, TV production (with audience reception facilities), showcases, conferences, product & press launches, lectures or company meetings, and is just a few minutes walk from Brighton’s mainline train station.

Whether a 1-2-1 or a large video or TV shoot, we offer a flexible production location in the heart of the City next to the famous North Laine.

Ironworks Studios is a complex of production studios and flexible-use spaces available for showcases, filming, photo shoots, press launches and much more.

Studio A is a 200 sqm (2150 sqft) studio with facilities to host live audiences of up to 180, with a retractable raked seating system and seats at floor level audiences can be arranged in multiple layouts including traditional theatre rows, a horseshoe arrangement or individual tables for an intimate stand-up cabaret feel.

Alternatively, with no seating, the concrete studio floor is perfect for cameras, tripods, dollies and lighting stands.

We have a full crew and 4K camera kit available The high spec control room has a view over the entire studio

Studio B has a 60 sqm studio floor that can be increased a for studio audience or larger shoots. A full 180° green screen with floor, blackout and cyclorama studio drape and wall to wall windows. Connecting rooms suitable for production/ green room/dressing room.

Lighting rigging options include three pantographs, eight powered lighting bars which can be patched from dimming to hard power from our power patch bay, DMX points on every bar and at floor level for the ease of adding floor lighting packages and throughout the production space to give total flexibility.

Additional seating allows for up to 50 people in a live audience.

Immediately adjacent to Studio B, the 80m2 café/bar is a large usable space in its own right, but with a fully retractable wall can also double the size of Studio B.

The fully licensed café/bar can be used as a pre or post event audience reception or reconfigured to any number of layouts either with or without furniture to become part of the studio floor or a production suite in its own right.

With a fully-integrated RGB lighting system, Studio B can be transformed into a colourful venue for social networking events complete with fully licensed bar and raised studio set/performance area.

A suite of on-site break-out rooms are available for multiple uses, fully furnished with tables and chairs as well as high speed wi-fi.

The Loft provides a comfortable production hub across 3 floors.

On the ground floor, the Palm meeting room is directly off Studio B making it an ideal crew or production base, gtreen room, dressing room, fully functioning meeting or skype room.

WAREHOUSE

At 200 sqm (2150 sqft), the warehouse complex is located directly off Studio A and includes production rooms, dressing rooms and a scenery dock

GALLERY Located adjacent to Studio B, the Gallery is the perfect space to control your production.

Two 42” wall mounted screens and one 32” monitor with HDMI inputs provide the base for a multi-configurable set-up supported by a 100Mbps upload/100Mbps download high speed Internet connection.

A stock of high end equipment is available for hire to build your dream set-up.

KITCHEN/ BREAK-OUT AREA Situated adjacent to Studio B, the cafe and breakout area has tea and coffee facilities, a small kitchen with microwave and various seating options.
