Her journey to JBMDL begain in 2014 when she joined the United States Air Force from her home state of California, and was placed into the Personnel career field. Her previous assignments are Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, Alaska, and Grand Forks Air Force Base, North Dakota.
When SSgt Holliday received notification she was moving to the FSS Commander Support Staff (CSS) shortly after arriving to JBMDL in 2021, she was excited to get right into her duties with an open mind. The purpose of the CSS is to manage personnel programs for the Unit Commander, keep the Command Team informed of important personnel and program information, and be the focal point for all personnel program questions for the unit. As a first-time supervisor, she led two airmen and a civilian counterpart to manage over 56 programs for 750 military and civilian personnel. As her teammates relied on her expertise to make them proficient, she soon realized this role would be more challenging than previously anticipated.
A year into her role as NCOIC, SSgt Holliday experienced an impactful shift in her personal & professional life that left her with more challenges. She spent the next ten months convincing herself that she would be better off not talking to anyone about what she was going through. What she didn't realize, was how much she could rely on her peers and the base-wide helping agencies. After taking a short hiatus to take care of her mental health, she returned to a team full of support. With the encouragement of her supervisiors and Airmen in the unit who have expressed their gratitude for her contributions, she has gotten through that tumultuous time in her life by passing multiple fitness assessments and graduating with her CCAF in Human Resource Management.
moves, planning promotion and quarterly ceremonies, quality reviewing many staff packages, counseling airmen on their retentions options, providing Flight Chiefs with program guidance, helping as the Unit Control Center during exercises, assisting the Mission Support Group executive office during two position vacancies, and also assisting the Military Personnel Flight with processing evaluations and retirement certificates during periods of low manning. SSgt Holliday believes this role was a pivotal experience she needed in her career. She learned that the Force Support Squadron is more than making ID cards and serving food by understanding how the 60 plus activities of the 11 flights support the Tri-Service Joint Base environment.
During her time in the CSS, she has supported the unit by implementing MyEval and MyDecs programs, updating AFFORGEN
As she transitions out of this role, she looks forward to growing as a supervisor and finishing her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with a concentration in HR Management. She encourages all Personnel and Administration Airmen to dive into the mission of the unit(s) that they support, keep an open mindset to new experiences, take care of their mental health by asking for help when they need it, and despite the naysayers always take pride in what they do. She appreciates and admires all civilian and military Airmen who make the Force Support Squadron what it is and thanks them for helping her grow in her career as she learned how to support their needs as NCOIC of the 87FSS Commander Support Staff.
Serving guests from all around the Joint Base community: Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard, Reserves, civilians, retirees, and their families. While our mission is to serve our service members and their families, we are open to all who have access to DoD installations.

Delaware County pulsates with patriotic spirit, evident in its array of memorials that pay homage to our nation's heroes. Among these treasures are the Pennsylvania Veterans Museum and the Delaware County Veterans Memorial, both serving as poignant reminders of sacrifice and valor. The museum offers a compelling journey through military history, showcasing artifacts and stories that honor the bravery and dedication of veterans. The solemn, yet dignified, memorial serves as a sacred space where visitors can pay their respects and reflect on the selflessness of those who served. Together, these sites embody the enduring bond between Delaware County and its revered military community.
With thousands of acres of county park land, a state park, national wildlife refuge, and numerous gardens and arboretums, it’s easy to connect with nature in Delco. Tyler Arboretum’s renowned plant collections and heritage and champion trees are celebrated by gardeners, botanists, and birders alike. Ridley Creek State Park offers acres of woodlands and meadows with a creek (and waterfall!) meandering right through the middle and a variety of paved and unpaved trails.
John Heinz National Wildlife Refuge at Tinicum, tucked in the county’s eastern corner, is an urban oasis for a rich diversity of native fish, wildlife, and plants.
Delaware County’s arts scene is as diverse as our population. Prepare to be dazzled by Broadway-caliber performances at The Media Theatre and Hedgerow Theatre. Wander through Brandywine Museum of Art and marvel at the mesmerizing brushstrokes of the Wyeth family. Enjoy cover bands, dance ensembles, concert orchestras, and more, and head to the Rose Tree Park Summer Festival outdoor concert series, happening Wednesday through Sunday evenings from June to August.
No family trip to Delco is complete without a visit to Linvilla Orchards
Pick your own fruits and veggies, go fishing, visit the barnyard animals, or take a seasonal hayride. Looking to have a ball?
Then use your head and make it a goal to get to a Philadelphia Union soccer game at Subaru Park. Get your tickets early to Upper Darby Summer Stage - one of the nation’s oldest and most successful youth theater programs. Every summer, a group of young thespians delight audiences with six family-friendly children’s theater shows and a Broadway-quality mainstage production.

The 87th Force Support Squadron presents the OASIS eSports Lounge, officially opening its doors to the Joint Base community on February 3, 2024. The grand opening featured a commemorative ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by JBMDL installation leaders. Located within the "old" Firehouse Community Center at 2502 East Arnold Ave., the renovated OASIS offers cutting-edge console and PC gaming for both casual and competitive play. In an era where connectivity is more critical than ever, OASIS provides a stand-alone facility for gamers of all experience levels, fostering Warfighter esprit de corps and community involvement. Currently, OASIS features a gaming room, a theater room, and a mixed-use lobby, with plans for expanded offerings underway.
At the heart of OASIS lies "The Villa" Gaming Room, where the competitive gamer comes alive. Console gamers can relax in recliners while enjoying gameplay on one of nine current-generation consoles, including PlayStation 5s, Xbox Series Xs, and Nintendo Switches, all connected to new 55” OLED gaming monitors. Tech-savvy PC gamers can compete on one of five MSI Aegis RS 13NUE-450US 3.4 GHz Intel Core i7 16-Core (13th Gen) computers, complete with 32GB of 5200 MHz DDR5 RAM and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 (12GB GDDR6X), paired with a 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD. All PCs are equipped with 240mm Liquid Cooling and ARGB Lighting, and are hardwired to 1x2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. For those unfamiliar with this terminology, future OASIS plans include classes and workshops tailored for casual gamers looking to transition into the competitive gaming space. Additionally, OASIS is home to the "Center Stage" Theater Room, suitable for head-to-head gaming competitions or relaxed movie lounging. Center Stage offers console gaming action projected in near life-size via a state-of-
the-art laser projector, a 120-inch screen, and seating for over 15 audience members. The projector, the Epson Pro Cinema LS12000 4K PRO-UHD 3-Chip 3LCD Laser Projector, known as the Pinnacle of Picture Quality 4k Pro Ultra HD, ensures an immersive experience. Drop by for "Friday Night Fights" and challenge other competitors in games like Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and win prizes and bragging rights.
If competitive gaming isn't your preference, the OASIS Lobby offers an open and relaxed atmosphere. This space is available for small events aimed at unit enhancement, providing a fun environment for Airmen to socialize over their shared love of gaming. The Lobby features a professional-grade PA music system connectable via Bluetooth, multiple 4K TVs for use, a digital dry erase board, and high-top bar tables and lounge chair seating. For those nostalgic for Atari, Sega, or Nintendo 64, OASIS has something special in store. Visit the Nostalgia Corner and reminisce while playing classic games like Asteroids, Galaga, Wii Sports, or Donkey Kong on one of
six available retro gaming systems including Atari 2600, Nintendo NES, Xbox 360, Nintendo 64, Sega Genesis, or the Nintendo Wii.
How did this all come to be? The diligent efforts of six individuals, supported by many others, turned OASIS from a dream into reality. In less than a year, the program evolved from words on a single page in the Fitness and Sports guidance [DAFI 34-144] to a fully renovated facility equipped to host local gaming competitions while providing a platform for JBMDL gamers to compete in Air Force Gaming competitions.
Capt Andrew Gonzalez, 87th Force Support Squadron's Sustainment Services Flight Commander, collaborated with his sister-Flight leads in Community Services Flight to secure the FSS Firehouse Community Center. Additionally, he worked with the 87th Air Base Wing leadership to obtain critical innovation funding to kick start the project. Ms. Jenn Diamond, Fitness Director, coordinated with AF Services Center leaders to ensure program compliance, set timelines, and align duties across a specialized team of four subject matter experts. Ms. Jennifer Mason, Fitness Center Director of McGurie, assisted in budgeting and funding execution, as well as developing staffing plans as operations would integrate into FSS Fitness Center McGuire operations.
Mr. Chris O'Donnell, Sports Specialist and OASIS Lead Project Manager, spearheaded the renovation process, which was nearly 100% self-help. He also served as the eSports subject matter expert, overseeing the gaming budget, procuring technology, and creating programming for intramural and league offerings. Mr. JP Waller, also a Sports Specialist, provided crucial physical labor during renovation and led outdoor sports activities during the summer months.
Lastly, Sports Technician, SrA Danny Villanueva, contributed to the physical labor of renovation, created digital infrastructure including servers and passwordprotected programs for security, and established YouTube and Twitch accounts for event streaming. Together, the team removed old recreational equipment, painted walls and ceiling tiles, installed equipment, and built custom gaming stations. Each member contributed their specialized talents and passion for the eSports mission, bringing the vision to fruition. Every piece of gaming equipment and furniture was carefully selected to provide JBMDL with an unprecedented gaming experience. OASIS is leading the eSports gaming arena across the enterprise, and the team looks forward to welcoming you into this exciting venture.

The layout of the course, with its natural flow of the land, generously wide fairways, and strategically placed hazards, allows for diverse playing strategies and continuous skill development.
With Ocean County being an attractive retirement destination, Pine Ridge also caters to retired service members and the local community with a variety of leagues, ranging from competitive to more social. These leagues provide an ideal opportunity for golf enthusiasts to connect, exercise, and appreciate the beauty of nature together. Additionally, Pine Ridge encourages patrons, including Active Duty, Retired Military, and DoD players, to escape the weekend crowds and enjoy a round of golf at either Pine Ridge or its sister course, Fountain Green Golf Course on the Dix side, which boasts an 18-hole championship layout known for its excellent conditions and playability since its design in 1941.
For avid golfers seeking more opportunities to hit the links, Pine Ridge offers Annual Fee options, Ten Play discount cards, and daily fee options. Pine Ridge also accommodates special events and outings, with Pine Ridge hosting up to 64 players for 9 holes and Fountain Green capable of accommodating 144 players for outings. Both courses provide catering options,
well-stocked pro shops offering rental equipment and merchandise, and tax-free purchases. After a round of golf, patrons can unwind at the bar overlooking the picturesque Fountain Green Golf Course or enjoy a meal at Fairways Grill, located in the clubhouse, known for its delicious sandwiches and snacks.
Pine Ridge actively engages with Youth Programs Lakehurst through fun clinics to promote the growth of the game, while Fountain Green plans to partner with the First Tee Program, a non-profit organization dedicated to teaching youth essential life skills through golf. Additionally, Pine Ridge encourages golfers to "Tee It Forward," promoting faster play and more enjoyment by moving up a set of tees.
The implementation of the Patronage Expansion Eligibility program by the DoD has resulted in an increase in patrons, benefiting eligible service-connected disabled veterans, Purple Heart Recipients, former prisoners of war, and veterans with a VA verified disability rating of 10-90%.
Finally, Pine Ridge emphasizes that the money spent on its programs and services is reinvested into these initiatives, as well as into supporting Service Members and their families.
Scott Tucci serves as the Golf Superintendent and Pro Shop Manager, bringing over a decade of experience to both roles. Having started in the pro shop during high school and later transitioning to the maintenance department, Scott pursued his passion for turf management through Rutgers' turf management program. Scott's expertise proved invaluable during Pine Ridge's transition period without a Pro Shop manager, leading to his successful appointment to the dual role, which he has excelled in for 14 years.
