Canoeing gives a fantastic opportunity to get out in nature on your and nature’s terms. In Scandinavia, we have a unique freedom, called the right of public access to the wilderness. But this right also requires respect and consideration when moving in land or on water owned by someone else. The canoeing excursions are a lovely experience. No engine, no sound – and it is you who determine the pace and degree of difficulty.
Paddeln ist eine großartige Möglichkeit, die Natur ganz individuell erleben zu können. Dank des allgemeinen Nutzungsrechts („Allemansrätten” – siehe auch unter: allemansrätten) bieten die skandinavischen Länder einen großzügigen Zugang zur Natur. Dieses Recht verpflichtet im Gegenzug den Nutzer, fremdes Eigentum schonend und pfleglich zu behandeln. Paddelfahrten gewähren herrliche Naturerlebnisse. Keine Motoren- oder sonstige Fremdgeräusche – und Sie selbst bestimmen über Fahrt und Schwierigkeiten im Gelände.
Rivers, brooks, and lakes and the islands out in the sea provide excellent starting-points for the various routes. The ample waterways in Terjärv and Nedervetil are superb as canoeing routes, and the central Lake Larsmosjön is large enough for days and nights of adventure. Many of our rivers, e.g. Esse or Kronoby rivers, are so-called high-water rivers, and the rivers are especially high in the spring and there are several rapids then for the more demanding adventure canoeist. Depending on the water level, the opportunities and adventures vary! A tour along the Lapua/Nykarleby river in Jeppo is a scenic route to lovely nature and interesting landscape. The rivers offer numerous possibilities and combinations. Paddling your canoe deep down on the river bed takes you to a completely new and enchanting world and lets your imagination fly. The worries and hustle and bustle of everyday life disappear. You are close to the basics. If it is not windy, you can paddle down to Nykarleby in a couple of hours or slowly glide there and back between Silvast and Gröta rapids. The river forks out and if you want to paddle round Holmen, it is a stretch of about 14 km and takes about 5-8 hours. Canoeing on your own – or with a guide! Are you a beginner? If you are, we recommend that you let one of our adventure guides or canoeing clubs teach you the basics, in order to make your canoeing tour as pleasant and safe as possible! In addition, the guides offer many excellent extra services which will make your P E Dadventure E R S Ö Rand E experience even more memorable. - Buy a safe canoeing package, inclusive of all the gear! We will update all the canoeing maps within the 7 Bridges Archipelago in 2010, together with local and regional canoeing societies and clubs. As soon as they are ready, they will be placed in our new information portal at www.7broar.com. We offer you new suggestions for good canoeing routes with various exciting themes – more demanding out on the sea and easier, but just as interesting, routes for lakes, rivers, and brooks. We will also update the landing and break sites and general information! Kleine und große Flüsse, Binnenseen und die dem Festland vorgelagerten Inselgruppen sind ausgezeichnete Ausgangspunkte für verschiedene Paddelausflüge. Die sich aneinander reihenden Seen in Terjärv und Nedervetil eignen sich ausgezeichnet für Kanufahrten; der zentrale Larsmo-See (Larsmosjön) bietet tagelange Abenteuer in der Natur. Zahlreiche Flüsse (z. B. die Esse oder der Kronoby-Fluss) verändern ihren Wasserstand im Frühjahr beträchtlich und verwandeln sich in reißende Ströme, die nur für geübte Paddler geeignet sind.

Je nach Wasserstand wechseln hier Möglichkeiten und Abenteuer! Eine Fahrt im Lappo- und Nykarleby-Fluss bei Jeppo ist mit hinreißenden Ausblicken verbunden. Hier gibt es unzählige Möglichkeiten zum Entdecken einer unberührten Natur. Eine bezaubernde, unbekannte und die Phantasie anregende Welt erschließt sich dem Betrachter. Alltagssorgen und Stress lösen sich in Wohlbefinden auf. Man spürt den Puls des Lebens. Man kann in einigen Stunden bis Nykarleby paddeln oder zwischen den Stromschnellen des Silvast und Grötas kreuzen. Der Fluss teilt sich in zwei Flussläufe; das Paddeln um die Insel Holmen ist eine Strecke von ca. 14 km und dauert fünf bis acht Stunden. Kanufahrten mit oder ohne Führung! Sind Sie noch Anfänger im Paddelsport? Dann empfehlen wir Ihnen einen Ausflug unter erfahrener Führung.
