INTRODUCTION UCH has been .witten reproduction and it has pointed out that whilst t methods have advanced by leaps an bounds, the method of reproduction the same, prior to the ad "DUOPHONE," as it was when the Gramophone was first evolved, namely, one single tone-arm and sound-box with all its limitations ; the result has been that the average individual has not been in a position to reap the full benefit which has taken place in the recording medium. 1 he " DUOPHONE '' is the outcome of long

and deep research to obtain definition and perfect analysis of any record down to the minutest detail, detail which is lost on any other Gramophone, and whilst giving an ample volume the scratch of the needle usually associated with the Gramophone is almost entirely eliminated, and we as Manufacturers and Proprietors of the Instrument have no hesitation in claiming the DUO PHONE'^ as the

Particular attention is called to the fact that the whole weight of the rear soundbox is held by the tone-arm, and the metal trip underneath acts as a counterbalance for the front sound-box,thereby making the weight on the record less than the ordinary single sound-box Gramophone.

A cordial invitation is extended to all

music lovers to hear this Instrument which is creating such a sensation in Cramophone circles and which is undoubtedly a revelation in sound reproduction.
