RELEASE After months of planning, we’re finally ready to let people in on our secret plan to conquor the world...or at least the magazine world. In the fall of 2010, Estefania Media will be launching two new free online mags, one for skateboarding and one for snowboarding, which will hopefully be the first two of many new mags. We’re going to publish in four languages and advertise from here to timbuktoo; we’ve got this crazy idea that using the internet we can really build the world’s largest magazines. The best part? We’re probably not crazy at all. We’re going to put 68 East on indefinite hiatus so that we can focus on these new projects, and we’d just like to thank every contributor, reader, and member of the community whose support has made 68 East possible. Wish us luck, we might need it, its a pretty big undertaking. But, in the words of Henry David Thoreau,
“If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them.” Time to get working on our foundations. Your all invited to the castle this fall.
