Welcome ABOUT OUR HOME

Warm and inviting, 3 bedroom/2 bath (w/ full sleeper sofa in the living room) including a large master bedroom with en suite beautiful master bathroom, an office space, and Peloton. And the yard includes a trampoline and hot tub.

We’re in the heart of Ashland, Oregon, just a 5-minute walk from downtown where the restaurants and theater are, as well as great hiking and bike trails.

Thank you so much for deciding to stay at our home! We work here, live here, and play here. We love this area and we hope you will love it just as much as we do!

We love spending time outdoors, and relaxing with a good book. Myself, and our co-host Marika is available to answer any questions you may have during your stay.

DIRECTIONS

From Interstate-5 Northbound: Take Exit 19 Turn left onto South Valley View Road Just past the gas stations, turn left onto Eagle Mill Road Follow Eagle Mill, turning right at the fork to go over the bridge onto Oak St Continue on Oak St, the driveway will be on the left just before Jessica Lane

From Interstate-5 Southbound: Take exit 19 Turn right onto South Valley View Road Just past the gas stations, turn left onto Eagle Mill Road Follow Eagle Mill, turning right at the fork to go over the bridge onto Oak St Continue up Oak St, the driveway will be on the left just before Jessica Lane

Additional notes: Check in time is any time after 4pm. There is free parking when you arrive and we will message you the code to the door before your check-in time. Please note that my car (white SUV) may or may not be parked in the driveway when you arrive, but there are 2 parking spaces. We also have a 1 year old 7 seater car available for rent separately. Please inquire if you’re interested.

Check out Check out is prior to 11am. Please toss out trash and recycling (bins located on the back side of the garage), and load and run the dishwasher (please do not put wooden utensils or the non-stick pans in the dishwasher). You do not need to do anything with sheets and towels. Please note, if you damage the home in any way, you may be charged up to $500 for damages.

Cancellations: Strict. Cancel up to 7 days before to get a 50% refund (minus service fees).

First aid is located in the cabinet above the refrigerator.

GARAGE ACCESS

LAUNDRY

There is a garage door opener in the black hutch as you enter the house. In the righthand drawer. Please keep the garage door closed when not in use.

The washer and dryer are in the garage. We use the Dropps soap pods located in the cabinet above the freezer, on the bottom left-hand shelf. Laundry is shared with the tenants above the garage, please do not leave laundry in the washer or dryer.

HEAT/AC

There are two thermostats. The one downstairs is between the stairs and the bathroom. The one upstairs is near the large wooden plant stand. Use the mode button to turn on the Heat or AC, and then the up and down arrows to adjust temperature (there is a schedule it runs on, but feel free to adjust as needed).

OUTDOOR FURNITURE

Cushions for the outdoor furniture are in the white bin outside the kitchen window.

Please replace when not in use, or when it rains. And please close the patio umbrella when not in use.

FIRE EXTINGUISHER

HOT TUB

The hot tub temp is set, & we clean and maintain it. Unclip the cover on both sides, while standing on the deck, lift the right half, and then use the bar to remove the cover the rest of the way (please only allow adults to remove it). If you would like the lights on, just click the lights button on the control panel. Use the jets button to turn on the jets. The jets have 4 settings. Please put the cover on & clip when not in use, and use the pool towels provided.

Located on the counter right of the fridge.

CLEANING SUPPLIES

Located under the kitchen sink. There is a broom in the utility closet by the bathroom.

DISHWASHER

The powder dishwasher soap is under the kitchen sink. Just 1 scoop is needed. Please do not put wooden utensils or non-stick pans in the dishwasher.

TV

The apple TV has guest accounts for your use on Netflix, HBO, Disney+, and Hulu.

TRASH/RECYCLING

The trash cans are located on the back side of the garage. They are all labeled 650. The black-lidded bin is for garbage, the two blue-lidded bins are for commingle recycling, and the small blue bin is for glass.

SAUNA

The sauna takes about 30 minutes to warm up. The default timer is 20 min so crank it higher if you'd like. Only 2 people at a time in the sauna please. Use at your own risk.

OREGON SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL

Founded in 1935 by Angus L. Bowmer, the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival is among the oldest and largest professional non-profit theatres in the nation.

LITHIA PARK

Lithia Park is the largest and most central park of Ashland. It consists of 93 acres of forested canyonland around Ashland Creek, stretching from the downtown plaza up toward its headwaters near Mount Ashland.

A charming shopping and dining corridor, downtown Ashland is lined with local restaurants, unique shops, and tons of character. With its historic downtown plaza, walking through the heart of downtown Ashland is reminiscent of European street markets, with garden-lined paths and vibrant storefronts.

Head South on Oak Street, toward the 4 way intersection, and you'll be in downtown 10 minutes later!

GROCERIES

DRUG STORE

The closest grocery store is the Ashland Food Co-Op - 237 N 1st St - a ten minute walk. They also have a great deli!

We also have Safeway - 585 Siskiyou Blvd - and they do Instacart orders.

There is a Rite-Aid at the south end of town - 2341 Ashland St - they are also on Instacart
