Fused Glass Workshop

Join us for a hands-on creative experience where you’ll design your own unique fused glass piece! Cut, shape, and arrange colorful pieces of glass onto a base using a special glass adhesive. An Instructor will be available to help you create and improve your design!
Once your design is complete, a kiln will fuse it into a finished piece. No experience needed, all materials and instructions included! Leave your piece to be fired and pick-up at either LA AFB or Fort MacArthur.
Note: All participants must wear closed-toed shoes while in the studio.

The Community Center will be visiting three of Temecula's best wineries on this day long excursion through wine country! Pay as you taste while we chauffeur you around to each winery.
Eligibility: 21 or older to participate. Open to active duty (all branches), active reservists, direct dependents, and current DoD.

Before & After School Care
School Age Program
Program Hours
Monday - Friday: 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Drop-off no later than 7:30 a.m.
Pick-up 3:45 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Children will be provided breakfast between 7 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
The School Age Program has moved from the Youth Center at Fort MacArthur to the Child Development Center at Los Angeles AFB located at 483 N Aviation Blvd, Bldg. 281, El Segundo, CA 90245.
Transportation
Before & after-school transportation will be provided for children in 1st–5th grades attending the following schools:
• Aviation Elementary School
• Del Aire Elementary School
• Hollyglen Elementary School
• Center Street Elementary School
Kindergarten transportation is available in the mornings only, as afternoon release times prevent us from offering after-school service. Parents may drop off kindergartners at the CDC after school.
