Tomahawk is fortunate to have a wide variety of health care options for its residents. Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital has been a cornerstone of the Tomahawk community since 1893. Today, the hospital is a primary care state-of-the-art facility staffed for 18 beds in a beautifully constructed 55,700-square-foot facility shared by the local clinic. The hospital offers a 24-hour emergency department and a walk-in clinic on Saturdays. In addition to the hospital and clinic, Tomahawk offers several physical therapy clinics, rehab facilities, chiropractors, dentists, optometrists, and nursing homes that provide access to high-quality health care for all of our residents.

Sacred Heart Hospital Foundation

Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital is a medical nonprofit organization with a mission to enhance health care services in the Tomahawk community. Through the generous donations of individuals and businesses, the foundation can look back with pride on the positive impact it has had on the general health and wellness of Tomahawk. This includes health education scholarships, free community health screenings, community wellness and education programs, and more.
