Introduction

Have you ever wondered who were some of the people that builded our satellites or who was the first man on the moon. That thought will be answered on this book. Page by page will tell you about famous astronauts that risked their life to make a better world.


NAME: Neil Alden Armstrong NATIONALITY: America BORN: August 5, 1930 Wapakoneta, Ohio, U.S. DIED: August 25, 2012 (aged 82) Cincinnati, Ohio, U.S.

Neil armstrong was married to Janet Shearon. She was born in May 1956 and died May 1994. Neil Armstrong also had a daughter.

Neil Armstrong was 8 days, 14 hours, 12 minutes, and 30 seconds in space. Neil Armstrong traveled to space inside the Apollo 11. Neil Armstrong was the commander of the Apollo 11. He began his career by Blying experimental rocket planes. He went to space with Michael Collins and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin.


The Apollo 13 crew tried 5 times to stay in space for the time that they were suppose to be the first time they tried. The crew got 3 awards for staying in the same crew, the second one is for trying many times until they achieved their mission in space and the last one is for navigation. This is a picture of the crew with the awards that they got during the missions.

Their mission was to stay in space for 5 days, 22 hours, 54 minutes but they just lasted in orbit for 41 seconds. The day they launched the rocket was April 11, 1970, 19:13 pm.


This is a picture of Christa McAuliffe Christa McAuliffe was the first teacher in space. Imagine having a school in space with no law of gravity. She went to space to teach some astronauts how to fix, move, and land. Her dead was sadly on a mission to go again to space. She was born in September 2, 1948 Boston Massachusetts and died in January 8, !986 aged 37. She received 1 award for the first teacher in space.

This is a picture of Sally Ride Sally Ride was the first woman that left the Earth’s orbit. Sally was from the United States of America, Washington D.C. She went to space in June 18, 1983. She traveled in the STS-7. She was the only woman in the spacecraft. She went to space to fix 3 satellites. She was born in Los Angeles, California, US and died July 23, 2012 aged 61 in La Jolla, California, US.


In the future some millionaires or artists are paying the space companies so they can send them to space. To get a ticket to this event you have to buy a ticket that is worth 4 million dollars each. This event was given by one of the celebrity’s manager in 2010 in a meeting with the space company.

The ticket to this awesome adventure will include the ride the food and all the supplies to survive in space. If a accident happens to the celebrity the cost will be really high. You can also go to space but the ticket will have a lower price because the celebrities are the most important passengers in the whole ship.

Millionaire: a person whose assets are worth one million dollars or more Company: a commercial business Supplies: a stock of a resource from which a person or place can be provided with the necessary amount of that resource Celebrity: a famous person that is well known by the state or the word.

This book was written by Emilio Sanchez. He likes to play soccer every day and he also likes video games. He has a small sister named Regina but Emilio doesn’t like her very much so thats why he wrote this so every one will know this. Emilio was able to write a book in spanish that was published in his mexican school.
