But over time sewing machines have changed shape by different inventors. for example in 1814, Josef Madersperger invented a sewing machine a bit different from Sain’s. By 1830, Barhelemy Thimonnier a sewing machine that sews straight seams using chain stitch. In 1832, Walter Hant invented the first lock stitch sewing machine. 1842, John Greenough first invented a sewing machine in U.S. 1845, Elias Howe invented a sewing machine similar to Saints. These sewing machines have helped millions of families by making sewing much easer and faster. Thanks to the sewing machine!
