FOOTBALL FEVER
SOME OF 4KIDS VERY OWN FINISH THE YEAR AT THE ORANGE BOWL
"This game was the perfect way for my foster boys to forget about their circumstances for a moment and just be kids." 4KIDS House Mom Included among the 65,000 people
in attendance at the Capital One Orange Bowl were two 4KIDS Independent Living (SOSI) residents, a pair of siblings from 4KIDS Kids Place, and some 4KIDS staff as well! As the Florida Gators took on the Virginia Cavaliers, the kids experienced their first ever college football game. A business partner and friend of 4KIDS gifted the tickets, and even included gift cards so the kids could purchase all the snacks needed for a great game day.

“They couldn’t put their phones away! One of the young ladies kept taking tons of photos and videos because she didn’t want to forget all the fun we were having,” shared Adrianne, SOSI Case Manager. The two brothers from Kids Place, ages 5 and 9, were also making memories to last a lifetime. They spent the whole game waving orange and blue pompoms and cheering as loud as they could for their favorite team. Ordering everything from popcorn to candy to chips and sodas, they got more energetic by the minute. For these kids, it was more than just a sports game—for one day, they could just be kids, despite all the hardships they’ve already endured. What a wonderful way to ring in the New Year!
