From Teacher to Adoptive Mom to Defender, Julie Has Always Been an Advocate for Kids Seven years ago, Julie Blue opened her home to two brothers and never looked back. For as long as she can remember, she has always had a heart for kids in need, stemming from her days as an inner-city school teacher. Now as an adoptive parent, she has seen firsthand how beneficial the support of 4KIDS

has been in her and her son’s lives. In 2019, she decided to become a Defender to bring further healing for other kids like hers. She passionately believes that giving is just one way that Christians like her can be a part of the solution for vulnerable children and families in our community!
