Former Youth Share Their Recent Accomplishments

Gabby started Kindergarten on a wonderful note, as she was selected for a competitive Dual Language program at her school. In her spare time, she enjoys playing instruments, acting, dance, and traveling. She was recently featured on the big stage in Heroes of Hip Hop’s “Limitless!” Gabrielle is grateful for friends like you, who provided her with essentials to her before she met her forever family.

Evans is a former resident of 4KIDS Independent Living (SOSI), who has also been a resident advisor for the past 9 years! In his own words, Evans shares about the impact SOSI has had on his life, "SOSI taught me how to navigate becoming an adult; everything from managing finances, learning how to work with others, and build a strong relationship with God. It is not just another 'program,' it’s a family."

Noelani and Anthony have been a forever family for a year and a half now! They have been implementing 4KIDS EPIC therapeutic techniques at home. When Anthony gets upset, he has learned to use his words and express what emotion he is feeling. They are both so grateful for the opportunity to have a therapist through 4KIDS who has taught them both to focus on connection and trust in their relationship.

Nicole is a His Caring Place alumni who recently became a licensed beauty esthetician, and was also promoted to management at her job. She and her son are doing very well! Nicole shares how being a part of our 4KIDS family impacted her life, "I used to be selfish and do my own thing, but coming to His Caring Place taught me teamwork, humility, how to respect other people's beliefs and love those who are different from me."
