Community Trust Spotlight
ASUMMERFULLOFFUN!

Throughout the Summer of 2024, 4 Community Trust made sure that children were occupied, with our Holiday Club and HAF Scheme’s there to provide them with fantastic activities. This resulted in us helping 2444 children, providing them with 7332 meals across 10 clubs, with 54 staff members working in the process! It was a busy and rewarding summer!!
Our D Day themed Community Meal in June provided a delightful celebration for all who attended. Our community had a full three course meal, including cheese and potato pie and jelly for dessert. The entertainment proved to be fantastic, with a visit from an amazing singer, who really did take everyone back in time with the songs from the war.

HOLIDAYCLUB&HAF
WHATANEXCITINGSUMMERWEHADAT4CT

Our Holiday Club and HAF schemes provided children with the opportunity to make new friends and experience new activities. As 2444 children in the Summer of 2024 - were able to have fun, such as having Disney, Pokemon and even Olympic based activities to do.
Following a fantastic anonymous donation we were able to provide each child with Pokemon related gifts.
Other experiences included a visit from Mickey, Minnie and even Olaf! Our Holiday Club children also enjoyed trips to Hoozoo and the cinema to see the new Minions movie.

Most importantly throughout the Summer we made sure that each child was well fed throughout the day.
With the current cost of living crisis, we’re well aware that not everyone gets the chance to eat healthily everyday - and we were so proud to provide 7332 meals to the children at our clubs. Meals including roast dinners, fruit salads and more helped us keep every child energised and well fed, helping take the burden off parents.
