SUMMER SUMMER 2023

Sponsored by CLICK HERETO VIEW!

We know how stressful registering for summer camps can be. We hope that between this guide and the Summer Camp Expo, we can make the task a little easier (and maybe even a little fun). There are so many amazing organizations in our community that are providing outstanding youth programs, camps, and resources for families, and we are so excited to share some of them with you! There is something for every age, every interest, and every schedule, and probably a few programs you have never even heard of.

MAKE A PLAN

Do you need camps for specific weeks? Is there a certain activity that your child would love? If you are piecing together summer camps across multiple organizations, use our Guide to Summer Camps to plan your summer and figure out where you need to register and when.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR

If you are eyeing a camp for a specific date or activity, the best way to ensure your spot is to register the day that it opens. Set a calendar reminder on your phone and set aside 15-20 minutes so you can complete the registration Some popular camps (looking at you ZTD biking) can fill up within hours of registration opening.

BECOME A MEMBER

Many places offer perks to members when it comes to registering. Some even offer priority or early registration. Signing up for a $2 Resident Discount Card with Missoula Parks & Rec will get you a reduced price for summer camps and also get a discount on visits to Currents, Splash Montana, and their other after school programs.

CREATE AN ACCOUNT EARLY

Many organizations use an online portal for camp registration. If you can, create an account now, before registration opens This way, all you have to do is login and add your selected camps to your cart and minimize your chance of getting waitlisted..

Positive, fun and designed to help children GROW as individuals, our martial arts camps are about SO much more than just kicking, punching, and getting the next colorful belt. In fact, the MOST important thing about our camps isn't the martial arts skills, but the personal skills they develop and carry for life. It's about developing confidence, discipline, character, focus, and respect. With every camp, your kids are growing in mind, body, and character. In the facility, your child will have their afternoon snack, participate in fun physical activities such as martial arts, dance, sports, tumbling, etc and stay engaged all the way until you pick them up.
