DWG is an internet art website, showcasing a virtual company’s profile offering various illegal services to Greek citizen (job positions, facilitations etc.) using traditional corruption processes (including a bribery services price list). The artwork was critical of both the corruption in Greece and the search engines’ functionality, which promoted the website to the top of job seeking search results. By visiting the website, users were able to “order” one or more of the illegal services that the company offered, by using their credit cards at the order form of the website
This presentation includes a significant amount of information concerning this artwork, its aftermath, and its reception by the mass media.
