What’s Inside Your iPad Case

The following is what is included with every kit.

THE IPAD STAND

Includes the stand and the screw needed to assemble.

The tool needed to assemble the stand is found in your iPad case.

THE IPAD CASE

Includes an iPad with a protective case, an iPad charger, a Moby device with a protective case and lanyard, a Moby charging cord, the tool needed for the stand, a dual charging cord, & help documents.

Setting Up PF Pay

Powerbank

Charge overnight. Ensure the powerbank is turned on when setting up.

Cord

Use the black cord to connect the powerbank to the Moby. Plug the USB side of the cord in to the powerbank, and the USB-C side of the cord in to the Moby.

Moby

Press and hold the button on the side to turn on.

iPad

Connect Moby to the PF Pay App and disable Auto-Lock in the Brightness & Display Settings of the iPad.

Enabling PF Pay for a Program

{Before being able to use PF Pay at an event, it must be enabled under the program’s settings on the brands website.

1. Log in to your brand’s PlayerFirst site. Using the left menu, go to Program>Registration Details.

2. Click the Pencil button next to the appropriate event.

3. Under the Basics tab, enable POS on the Point of Sale field.

4. Once enabled, the POS Access Code field will be made available. This code provided will be needed to sign in to the PF Pay App on your iPad.

5. Use the PF Pay Start Date/End Date fields to enter the dates you want the program to be active on the app. If no dates are entered, the program dates will be used.

Finding Your Event Codes

All of your event codes needed for on-site ticketing.

To find them, go to Schedule > Leagues & Tournaments. Click your event.

Both the On-Site Product Code (code used to scan tickets using the Access App) and the PF Pay Code will be listed here.

Logging in to the PF Pay App

1. Open the PF Pay App on your iPad.

2. Once opened, you will be presented to Log In with a Code.

3. Use the code provided to you by the brand. If you are an admin, use the previous page of this handbook to retrieve the code.

Connecting Your Device to Your iPad

1. Use the HAMBURGER MENU to open up the PF Pay menu.

2. Under the Device Settings header, select the Settings button.

3. On the Device Settings page, follow the instructions provided to pair your device.

If pairing a device for the first time, you will see 3 alerts during the pairing process.

Please allow up to 20 minutes for the device to properly connect. It may only take a few minutes, but during this process the device may also need to update Firmware.

Kiosk Mode

While in Kiosk mode, you will not be able to view transactions, issue refunds/new receipts, or use the app’s menu.

TO ENABLE KIOSK MODE

1. Use the HAMBURGER MENU to open up the PF Pay menu.

2. Select the Enter Kiosk Mode button within the menu.

3. A pop-up will display, notifying you that Kiosk mode has been enabled.

TO DISABLE KIOSK MODE

1. Select the Kiosk Mode button in the top right of the screen.

2. You will be prompted to enter the event’s Access Code in order to leave Kiosk Mode. Enter the code, and press Submit.

Product Questions

If a Product has Category questions and is being added for the first time, the user will be prompted to answer these questions.

When the user adds the same product again, they will NOT BE prompted to answer the questions again. The previous answers will be copied.

Cash Payments

1. After the necessary items are added to the cart, press the Pay button in the bottom right.

2. On the payment screen, select the Pay With Cash button.

3. A notification will appear that will explain the payment will be rounded to the nearest dollar. Select I Agree.

4. Enter the amount of cash given to you by the customer, and press Receive Cash. You will be prompted with how much change to give back to the customer.

Manual Card Entry

1. After the necessary items are added to the cart, press the Pay button in the bottom right.

2. On the payment screen, select the Enter Card Number button.

3. Enter the card information, and press the Charge button.

Device Payments

1. After the necessary items are added to the cart, press the Pay button in the bottom right.

IF A DEVICE IS NOT CONNECTED

2. You will be asked to connect a device. To see steps to connect your device, click HERE.

IF A DEVICE IS CONNECTED

2. On the payment screen, you will be promted to insert, swipe, or tap their card to pay.

3. If cancel is accidently pressed, press the Retry Reader button to be prompted to insert, swipe, or tap to pay again.

Receipt Options

After processing a payment, you will be prompted to email a receipt, text a receipt, or provide no receipt.

A new receipt can be emailed later, by using the Transactions page (see next page).

Transactions, Refunds, & New Receipts

Kiosk Mode must be disable in order to manage transactions, refunds, & new receipts.

The PF Pay App will only store transactions completed on the device per user. If a users logs out on the app, the transaction history and sales data will be cleared.

All transactions are saved on the web.

1. Select the Transactions tab at the bottom of the screen.

2. Search for an invoice by invoice number or by the last 4 digits of the credit card with the search bar. Select the invoice you would like to view.

3. To issue a refund, press the Refund button at the top of the selected invoice.

4. To email a new receipt, press the New Receipt button at the top of the selected invoice.
