Il braccio destro di Donato Lanati Donato Lanati’s right-hand woman Nata a S.Casciano, in provincia di Firenze, è Biologa ed Enologa. Dopo aver lavorato per 12 anni in Toscana da Antinori, è venuta in Piemonte e collabora con Enosis, dov’è direttore tecnico e responsabile del laboratorio controllo qualità, ormai da quasi 20 anni. Per diversi anni ha tenuto corsi di enologia varietale al Corso di Laurea di 1° e 2° livello di Viticoltura e Enologia dell’Università di Torino. Dora Marchi was born in San Casciano, close to Florence. She is a biologist and an enologist. After working 12 years in Tuscany at Antinori she moved to Piedmont where she has been cooperating with Enosis for approximately 20 years as Technical Manager and responsible for the quality control department and laboratory. For many years she has delivered numerous courses in enology for 1st and 2nd level students at the Department of Wine-Growing and Enology at the University of Turin.

filari che sorgono davanti a Enosis costituiscono il più particolare dei vigneti italiani. Difficile immaginarlo senza saperlo a priori, al suo interno vi sono ben 36 varietà autoctone di vitigni italiani. Dalla sapiente miscelazione delle loro uve, fin dal 2010, viene prodotto un vino rosso, non in vendita, che porta il nome di Pisopo. In sè, racchiude la vera anima di Enosis: lo studio associato al talento, ovvero il comportamento del vitigno sul territorio e nell’ambiente unito alla capacità di unire sapori e profumi in funzione di ottenere il miglior vino possibile. Sulla sua etichetta, inoltre, compare la figura di Pinocchio perché, come dice il suo ideatore Donato Lanati: “è un segnale: col vino non si scherza, col vino si deve essere onesti”.

36 species of vine called
PISOPO
he vineyard situated in front of Enosis is one of the most unusual in Italy. If you do not know it, it is difficult to imagine that it contains 36 different Italian species of vine typical of this area. By skillfully mixing these different grapes they have been producing since 2010 a red wine called PISOPO that is not for sale. The true soul of Enosis can be found in this wine: knowhow and talent are linked together, the study of the vine and of the results in a specific area and environment is linked to the ability to put flavours and scent together in order to produce the best wine possible. Moreover on its label you can find the image of Pinocchio because, as Donato Lanati states, “it is a warning: wine is a serious matter, wine requires honesty”.
