The Site Selection
The site
The Inokashira Park is located in Mitaka city, Tokyo, Japan. There are lots of per formers in the park. They performance in the two kinds of stage. One is official stage, needing to rent it before using. The other one is park ground. The amteurs come and showcase their skills in a casual mood. Thereofre, I desing a causual stage for not only performers but also for the park nature. The topology of the park is concave form so the forest system cut down the urban noise. As a result, the music combine human and nature inside play an important role in the park
02 Inspiration
The site
Main entrance
The design location I choose is near by the main entrance. People can see the site hid by the greens appearing and disappearing when they pass through the main bridge. There are lots of greens and hear the bird songs. Commuters walk thorough the bridge mostly, the site can be seen from the trees visiblely and invisibely.

01 Background

About the materiality of the park, There are plenty of beautiful structures made with pruned branches scattered in the park.Some cute natural fences were made by regional volunteers .They can catch the fallen leaves and soil to keep the ponds clean. The material structure that melt into here is branch.So I collected some small size of them and use them to do some model sketches.
