for the pastas. True to its roots, Sotto Sopra has a variety of pastas to enjoy which include the Rigatoni Toscano made with roasted tomato sauce over sausage and broccoli rabe. The Pasta Pomodoro features homemade tomato sauce and mozzarella, over the classic tube-shaped rigatoni. The Risotto is a delectable blend of sautéed mushrooms, pancetta and parmesan. The second course, or “il secondo” in Italian, encompasses the meats, and the generous portions offered at Sotto Sopra servings of fish, chicken, pork, beef and lamb. The Salmone alla Griglia is Tuscan-rubbed grilled salmon with escarole and roasted potatoes. The fresh Zuppa di Pesce combines lobster, shrimp, clams and mussels in a savory tomato sauce and basil aioli. Exceptional meat selections include the Tournedos de Manzo petit beef filets, sautéed mushrooms and enriched with a red wine shallot sauce. The Porco al Forno is a grilled pork

chop along with sage and mustard mashed potato and poached raisins. On the Classic Grill menu, diners will find a double thick cut Veal Porterhouse or the juicy Prime certified, flamegrilled Sirloin. The Sides for Two complement any assortment of culinary courses served by Sotto Sopra and include Hash Browns, pan roasted with onion, oregano and thyme. Choose between the Asparagus grilled with rich, extra virgin olive oil or Brussel Sprouts roasted with fresh rosemary. Opt for the classic Mashed Potatoes or upgrade to the sage and mustard flavor. Sautéed Mushrooms combine cremini and portabella mushrooms with oysters. Lastly, fresh off the cob is pan roasted Sweet Corn. In Italy the meal is not over until something sweet balances the palate and the dessert or “dolce” in a traditional Italian meal is the highlight of every Sotto Sopra meal. The

whipped and creamy Tiramisu is the perfect ending to any Prix Fixe course. The expertly prepared Tartufo is a plated, dome-shaped ice cream dessert composed of frozen fruit or fruit syrup. The candied Chocolate Turtle is a handy option made with pecans and caramel dipped in chocolate. This Summer from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. the bar menu includes half-priced drinks for a very, very Happy Hour. The specialty house drink is the popular Sotto Blue which muffles blueberries in a tangy Vodka and Lemonade drink. Diners may also choose the Southfork Margarita, or the French 75 featured on the cocktail menu. An extensive wine list includes distinguished brands such as Crossbarn by Paul Hobbs, Wölffer Estate Rosé and the French Sancerre.
