BOSSUET PIERRE

BOSSUET PIERRE was born on December 4, 1965, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, into a family deeply committed to the Seventh-day Adventist faith. His father, Anelus Pierre, was an Adventist missionary teacher and pastor, and his mother, Jacqueline T. Pierre, served alongside him as a dedicated educator. Following in their footsteps, Bossuet became both an educator and theologian.
He completed his primary education in Adventist schools in Moron and Anse d’Hainault, and his secondary education at Lycée National des Baradères and Lycée Alexandre Pétion. In 1989, he graduated from the École Normale Supérieure and earned a degree in Theology from Université Adventiste d’Haïti, followed by a Master’s in Religion from Andrews University.
In 1993, he was called to ministry by the Adventist Mission of Southern Haiti, serving districts in Pétion-Ville, Carrefour, Diquini, and Beaumont. He also led the Youth, Education, and Communication departments. Since relocating to the U.S. in 2004, he has ministered at Bethel Church in Miami and Siloe Church in Oakland Park and is known for evangelism, leadership seminars, and member training.
He currently pastors the Bethany and Jerusalem SDA Churches in Boynton Beach, Florida, focusing on leadership development, evangelistic outreach, and building projects.

Bossuet married Hollie Marlene Pierre on February 17, 2002. They are blessed with three daughters: Ann Christly, Ann Harley, and Berlie Marlène.
His passion for ministry was ignited during a 1984 crusade in Baradères. Since then, he has led successful evangelistic campaigns in Haiti, the U.S., and French Guiana.
His favorite Scripture, Colossians 3:1–4, reflects his belief in a Christ-centered life rooted in Adventist doctrine and heavenly purpose.
LEBI S. HELENA

LEBI S. HELENA is the youngest son of a family of 12 siblings. He was born in Cotui, Dominican Republic to Isidoro Helena and Casilda Santos. He completed his primary and secondary education in his hometown of Cotui. Passionate by the desire to serve others, he enrolled in medical school at the Universidad Nordestana. But God’s call into pastoral ministry was stronger than the study of medicine, thus the change to the Dominican Adventist University to study Theology where he served as a scholarship student for one year before completing his theological studies in Mexico in May of 2012 at Montemorelos University, Navojoa extension campus in Sonora.
Pastor Helena’s extensive work as a literature evangelist along with his missionary work in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, reaffirmed his commitment to the proclamation of the gospel. Pastor Helena is convinced of that! In September 2012 he was called to serve in the district of Yecora in the Sierra of Sonora, and two years later he was transferred to the district of Puerto Rico Penasco, under the aegis of the North American Union.
A dedicated and compassionate leader, Pastor Helena possesses strong leadership skills in teamwork and counseling, all with an intentional bent toward spiritual guidance— these assets are crucial to sound church growth and an effective administration.

He credits his successful pastoral ministry in no small way to a healthy family life with his wife, Cori Villarreal and children Zoe and Jahdai. Since June 2021 Pastor Helena has served as pastor of the Hispanic churches of Doral and Philadelphia in the City of Miami, Florida.

YVENS MELIDOR

Yvens was born on the beautiful Caribbean island of Haiti. He is the proud son of Sanel and Isemona Melidor, “two of the most hardworking, dedicated and loving individuals” he knows. Yvens was raised in a close-knit household along with five sisters and two brothers.
At age six, Yvens and his family migrated to the United States, settling in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At age 13, Yvens committed his life to the Lord in baptism at Sinai French SDA Church in Plantation, Florida (a part of the Southeastern Conference), a moment that sparked the beginning of a journey into pastoral ministry.
Yvens holds a Bachelor’s degree in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University, and a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Valdosta State University, along with a Master of Ministry degree in World Mission and Evangelism from Southern Adventist University. Yvens is married to his best friend and confidant, Rochelle Desiree Cousins. Their marriage union has produced two beautiful children, Malachi, nine, and Marai, seven. “They are precious reminders each day of God’s grace, legacy, promise, and power.” And his marriage partner?
Pastor Melidor affectionately calls her his “little rock” and “better half”. He is forever thankful to God for blessing him with two incredibly supportive in-laws, Richard and Daisy Cousins.
Despite the many twists and turns in his educational and pastoral pursuits, one thing has always been clear—God was chasing after him! That he knew! He also knew that God was constantly calling him back to Southeastern Conference—a calling nurtured through the faith of family, tested through life’s valleys, strengthened by love, a mother’s prayer. and an unmistakable anointing for service in the vineyard of the Lord.
Pastor Melidor often quotes this: “I am just a sinner, unworthy and undeserving—a sinner who has discovered that God still loves me anyway. And now, I want to share that love with the world. If someone, anyone can see Jesus in me, then I have lived well.”
At the core of Pastor Melidor’s ministry is a burning desire: to see souls saved, lives transformed, and especially to witness the next generation of youth discovering their own path and walking boldly into that calling which Christ has placed on their lives.
