A carrom board (spelled carom) is also a square smooth flat wooden board that can be 72cm or 74cm square and should be 60 - 70cm above the ground. Each corner has a circular hole that can be 51 mm in diameter and under each hole is a mesh to hold the same pieces as a snooker table.

If you do not want to buy boric powder, you can use baby powder, baking powder or potato starch. It is not as smooth as boric powder but will work fine.

Perfect Position to Play Carom 1. Place your carom board on a surface 60 cm - 70 cm from the floor.

2. Sprinkle the boric powder slightly on the board and place the queen in a small circle in the center of the board.

3. Arrange the carom men / coins around the queen.
