203 FINE ART specializes in the historical movements of Taos, New Mexico, including the end-of-the-century migration of notable artists from L.A. to Taos.

While Dennis Hopper and his film “Easy Rider” were the first to put Taos on the pop-culture map, the chain of excitement for the possiblities in a rural southwest town spread through his community.

The legendary ceramicist, Ken Price, was the next artist to move to Taos. He then spread the word to Larry Bell, who is now the most premiere contemporary artist of Taos. Ronald Davis followed next, bringing a new taste of geometric abstraction the region had not yet experienced.
