FAIR BOOK

Join us July 19–27 for the 69th annual Teton County Fair, our community’s signature western and agricultural heritage event.

Visit us online to enter and purchase event tickets: www.tetoncountyfair.com

This July, we’re thrilled to celebrate the 69th Annual Teton County Fair—our community’s signature event honoring the rich history, agricultural roots, and western heritage of Jackson, Wyoming. Spanning nine days, the Fair offers a dynamic lineup of events, shows, and entertainment that attracts participants and spectators of all ages and backgrounds.

Since 2020, following the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Fair has experienced tremendous growth and renewed energy. In 2024, we saw record-breaking success: three out of four nightly events in the Rodeo Arena sold out, participant entries surged, and several competitions reached capacity for the first time ever. Sponsorship support also hit an all-time high, thanks to the incredible generosity of our local community.

The Teton County Fair Board is deeply grateful for this continued enthusiasm—it’s what makes the Fair the biggest and most anticipated celebration of the summer in Jackson!

As we prepare for another unforgettable year, we invite you to sponsor the 69th Annual Teton County Fair. Your support—whether as a business or individual—plays a vital role in sustaining the momentum and ensuring the Fair’s ongoing success. We offer a variety of sponsorship packages and would be honored to partner with you in bringing this cherished tradition to life.

Let’s make 2025 our best Teton County Fair yet—together. Thank you for your continued support. We can’t wait to see you at the Fair!

MARY WIGG MEMORIAL AWARD

Mary Wigg was a dedicated competitor at the Teton County Fair for many years. She successfully showed her horse each year, always exhibiting grace and commitment. In 1999, Mary was the winner of the Teton County Fair High Point Champion. She passed away just two months later following a lengthy battle with cancer.

The TCF Horse Show Committee annually commemorates Mary’s spirit, strength, and sportsmanship by presenting the traveling trophy to a competitor who exhibits these same admirable qualities. Each competitor who participates in all the Western Performance classes on Sunday, July 20, will be judged on their sportsmanship. All competitors, and anyone who knew Mary, are welcome to attend the presentation of the trophy at approximately 1:00 p.m. in the Rodeo Arena.

IN LOVING MEMORY

DYLAN GRANT

Dylan Grant loved the Teton County Fair! He started participating at just 2 years old, competing in the Horse Show Lead Line. When Dylan was 4, he was Grand Champion of the Pet Show with his dog, Molly. At age 6, he was Grand Champion of the Costume Class — his pony was decorated as a ship, and he was a pirate.

Dylan had fun competing in Fun Night with his horse. He loved the fish pond and the carnival and, most of all, the bucking machine! Let’s not forget the Pig Wrestling — his team even won his age division one year. Dylan was later hired by the Pig Wrestling contractor to help out for a couple of years.

One year, Dylan and two friends bought a “mini pig” from the Petting Zoo together. That pig, Daisy, grew to nearly 500 pounds!

Dylan was very involved with 4-H for a decade. He did many presentations, winning Grand Champion one year and Reserve Champion another. When Dylan was 9, he was Reserve Champion in Archery as a member of the Razor Backs. He won the Horse Show Walk Trot at age 11 as a member of the Teton Range Riders. He was a member of the Divine Swine club and showed pigs all 10 years, winning Reserve Showman one year.

Dylan really enjoyed his six years as a member of the Claybusters Shotgun Club and won Grand Champion as both an Intermediate and a Senior. Dylan qualified for the Wyoming State Fair many times in many categories and competed in the State Shoot one year. He served as an officer in many of his clubs. Dylan received Gold Medal recognition on every record book he completed, even having the best book one year. He was also chosen to be a member of the Wyoming 4-H Honors Club.

Of course Dylan’s favorite part of the Fair was the rodeo! He got on his first sheep at age 4, then advanced to mini bull riding, and later to regular bulls—winning buckles in both events.

Dylan will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him at the Fairgrounds, in the Rodeo Arena, and through 4-H. His big smile, adventurous spirit, and love for animals touched so many lives. Though he’s no longer with us, his energy, enthusiasm, and dedication live on in the people and programs he helped shape. Every time a kid steps into the arena for the first time or leads an animal in the show ring, a little piece of Dylan’s spirit is right there with them.

FAIR & RODEO ROYALTY

ROYALTY PAGEANT

The 2025 Teton County Fair & Rodeo Royalty Pageant will take place on Friday, June 20, at 6 p.m. in the Community Building, featuring modeling, speeches, and interviews. The Horsemanship portion will be held on Saturday, June 21, at 11 a.m. in the Heritage Arena, with the Coronation Ceremony to follow back at the Community Building. A heartfelt thank you to Mrs. Friess for sponsoring the 2025 Program, and to Gwen and Bill Hansen for their sponsorship of the 2025 Pageant.

THE ROLE OF A RODEO QUEEN

Holding the title of Rodeo Queen is much like holding a job: it requires dedication and sacrifice, yet the rewards are endless. A rodeo queen is a role model for all young ladies, regardless if they grew up living the western lifestyle. She upholds herself with grit and grace. She is an ambassador to the sport of rodeo, her local sponsoring rodeo, and her community. She is a leader for the younger title holders and is an educator on the sport of rodeo and the western lifestyle. While a rodeo queen is a cowgirl, she must first and foremost be a lady.

The Teton County Fair & Rodeo Royalty are representatives of Teton County, ambassadors for the Teton County Fair & Rodeo, and spokeswomen for keeping our western heritage alive.

Thank you Royalty Committee!
