Proud Sponsor of the... BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX
DEAR GOLF FANS,
On behalf of everyone associated with the Korn Ferry Tour, from our dedicated staff, current membership and alumni, to the countless volunteers and proud sponsors, it is my pleasure to welcome you to the 2023 BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX.
This week, you have the unique opportunity to connect with and follow the next generation of PGA TOUR stars, as a record-high 88 percent of PGA TOUR members are Korn Ferry Tour alumni.
The next Scottie Scheffler is in this field. You can walk with the next Max Homa at this event. You can witness the next Will Zalatoris hoist a trophy on the 18th green. You can take home an autograph from the next Xander Schauffele. You can see the next Tony Finau accomplish a lifelong goal and secure a PGA TOUR card. Those alumni are among the multitude of PGA TOUR winners who rose to stardom after graduating from the Korn Ferry Tour.
Thank you for your support of the Korn Ferry Tour and our tournaments, and I hope you have a tremendous experience this week as you watch the next generation of PGA TOUR stars lay the foundation of their respective legacies.
Have fun this week,
OVERNIGHT SUCCESS? YEAH, RIGHT
For the ambitious, both on and o the course, there’s no such thing as a 9-to-5. It’s a lifetime of learning, improving, and pushing the boundaries.

6 BMW CHARITY PRO-AM PRESENTED BY TD SYNNEX
WELCOME FROM BMW
DEAR FRIENDS,
Welcome to the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX. We are excited to have two beautiful Upstate South Carolina golf courses hosting this event, from June 8–11, 2023. We are pleased to be back at Thornblade Club and The Carolina Country Club for the 22nd playing of this tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour.
We look forward to four exciting days as professional, celebrity and amateur players hit the greens. A warm welcome to those new to the tournament and welcome back to all returning participants. All of the action will once again be broadcasted to a worldwide viewing audience on the Golf Channel.
Since its inception in 2001, the tournament has donated over $15 million in charitable giving. This year, the tournament will benefit five specific charities: Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, Cancer Society of Greenville County, Meyer Center for Special Children and Roper Mountain Science Center.
BMW has been proud to call South Carolina home for nearly 30 years. Just as our Plant Spartanburg associates share a passion for excellence in building premium quality vehicles, together, we are also proud of the charitable giving and impact this golf tournament has on the local community. Our company is also especially proud of the sustainability activities featured throughout all aspects of the tournament and the many events held during the week.
Thank you to our sponsors, volunteers, participants, and spectators for making this a great tournament. Please enjoy the event!
Kind regards,
Robert Engelhorn President and CEO BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC
8 BMW CHARITY PRO-AM PRESENTED BY TD SYNNEX
DEAR TOURNAMENT PATRONS,
On behalf of TD SYNNEX Corporation, I am pleased to welcome you to the 2023 BMW Charity Pro-Am. As presenting sponsor for the past 12 years, the tournament has been an integral part of our company’s story.
Each year along with BMW, we enjoy hosting the players, celebrities, and spectators who visit Greenville for this great event. It’s a pleasure to show off the place we call home, including our thriving downtown, golf courses and clubs. It’s also fun being with so many locals who attend the tournament.
But what’s most important about tournament week is the impact it has on our greater community. In 2023, this will include assisting local cancer patients, helping children suffering from illnesses and disabilities, providing meals to homebound citizens, enabling children to succeed in school, and providing access to science education. TD SYNNEX is humbled to have played a part in the more than $15 million dollars raised since the tournament’s inception in 2001, and we look forward to seeing this number climb in the years ahead.
Our merger in 2021 with Tech Data created the world’s largest IT distribution company. And just as the BMW Charity Pro-Am is about more than golf, TD SYNNEX is about more than IT distribution. Our story is largely about getting involved in the communities we serve. And the tournament is just one of the many ways our more than 1,000 Greenville associates are able to give back.
We hope you have a great time enjoying the golf and meeting a few celebrities this week. And while you’re at it, we invite you to learn more about the tournament’s philanthropic impact. Remember, it’s never too late to find a small way you can give back to Greenville or whatever community you call home. We believe that together, everyone can make a difference. From all of us at TD SYNNEX, we hope you enjoy the tournament.
Sincerely,
Bob Stegner
Vice President, SCCI Board of Directors Senior Vice President, Marketing, North America, TD SYNNEX Corporation

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
SOUTH CAROLINA CHARITIES, INC. (SCCI), the non-profit foundation of the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX, was created in order to showcase the beauty of Upstate South Carolina and the hospitality of its citizens to the world; to create an event that brings the Upstate a fun and entertaining week centered around professional athletes and world renowned celebrities; and raise money and awareness for South Carolina charities. Since 2001, the tournament has distributed $15.1 million to charities in the Upstate, part of the PGA TOUR’s $3 billion raised for charity.
The BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX is the only tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour where amateurs and celebrities are grouped with Korn Ferry Tour professionals in a three-day better-ball competition over two courses. Amateurs, celebrities and professionals rotate between the two courses, Thornblade Club, and The Carolina Country Club on Thursday and Friday with the 12 lowest scoring amateur teams, four lowest scoring celebrity teams advancing to play Saturday’s final round at Thornblade Club. The lowest 65 pros (and ties) will play on Saturday and Sunday at Thornblade Club.
Visit BMWCharityGolf.com for updates and information, and follow the tournament on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram @bmwcharityproam.

FEATURED CHARITIES
The Cancer Society of Greenville County’s mission is to create new hope and improve the quality of life for local cancer patients and their families. Since 1965, we have provided free-of- charge programs, services, education, assistance and support to meet the changing medical, financial, emotional and educational needs of cancer patients and their families in Greenville County. We are not affiliated with the American Cancer Society and all of our funds are spent locally. We serve over 4,000 cancer patients here at home each year.
Roper Mountain
Roper Mountain Science Center, the most unique organization in the Upstate focused on science education, is exceptionally positioned as a public-private partnership (with Greenville County Schools) to: deliver curriculum-based, hands-on learning for students, offer inspiring “edutainment” for the public and produce stateof-the-art training for teachers.
Gibbs Cancer Center and Research Institute is a nationally recognized cancer treatment and research facility. Gibbs Cancer Center is a proven leader in providing effective cancer treatment through advanced technology, professional expertise and an exceptional level of personalized care. Gibbs Cancer Center locations include Greer, Spartanburg, Gaffney and Union, and it is affiliated with the Upstate Carolina National Cancer Institute Oncology Research Program (NCORP). In 2020, a 191,000-square-foot expansion of Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute at Pelham opened, which brings advanced cancer care and clinical trials to more people in the Upstate.
Mobile Meals of Spartanburg glorifies God by providing nutritious meals, services, and fellowship to the frail and homebound citizens in Spartanburg County. Mobile Meals provides 1,200 seniors a nutritious meal each weekday using 130 volunteers to deliver the meal to their home. Wellness checks are provided by volunteers and staff. Mobile Meals is much more than a meal. We provide nourishment for the mind, body and soul. Mobile Meals delivers love, compassion and hope to those in need.
The Meyer Center for Special Children is a nonprofit that empowers children with disabilities to reach their maximum potential. Our unique approach integrates early childhood education with intensive therapies, bridging the gap between students with disabilities and their typical peers. The Meyer Center serves children (ages 0-7 years) with varying disabilities such as cerebral palsy, Down syndrome, autism and rare genetic conditions. Nine multi-categorical classrooms (serving 95 students) provide an enriching educational setting for students to learn while simultaneously receiving intensive speech, physical and occupational therapies. We believe that in the right environment, every child can succeed.

THE CAROLINA COUNTRY CLUB
Our Tom Jackson designed, 18-hole championship layout thought to be among the best courses in the Upstate, meanders through a beautiful natural setting that brings stream and our signature lake into play on several holes. The course can stretch as long as 7,000 yards from the Championship tee, and play as short as 4,700 yards for our Red tee. With six sets of tees available, The Carolina Country Club is both a challenge and a treat to play for all skill levels.
Our Champion Ultra-dwarf Bermuda grass greens are in excellent condition, along with our 419 Bermuda grass Fairways and Teeing grounds. A wonderful complement to our great course is our extensive practice facilities, which include a full length driving range, 100 yard short range, pitching and chipping practice green, and 4,500 square foot practice putting green.
Whether you are working hard to improve your game, or you just want to relax and clear your mind, the practice facilities at The Carolina Country Club are just the ticket. The oversized range provides ample space for every golfer, while being secluded from the hustle and bustle of daily activities at the club. Players can hit every club in the bag to a variety of predetermined target greens and the oversized grass teeing area ensures a great turf to hit from each day.
Along with the full practice range, the club also features a short game area designed especially for those handicap reducing shots. The short game area includes two green side bunkers and over 90 yards of fairway and rough to practice wedge shots to the green.
