Welcome to the BMW Charity Pro-Am presented by TD SYNNEX. We are excited to have two beautiful Upstate South Carolina golf courses hosting this event, from June 8–11, 2023. We are pleased to be back at Thornblade Club and The Carolina Country Club for the 22nd playing of this tournament on the Korn Ferry Tour.

We look forward to four exciting days as professional, celebrity and amateur players hit the greens. A warm welcome to those new to the tournament and welcome back to all returning participants. All of the action will once again be broadcasted to a worldwide viewing audience on the Golf Channel.

Since its inception in 2001, the tournament has donated over $15 million in charitable giving. This year, the tournament will benefit five specific charities: Gibbs Cancer Center & Research Institute, Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, Cancer Society of Greenville County, Meyer Center for Special Children and Roper Mountain Science Center.

BMW has been proud to call South Carolina home for nearly 30 years. Just as our Plant Spartanburg associates share a passion for excellence in building premium quality vehicles, together, we are also proud of the charitable giving and impact this golf tournament has on the local community. Our company is also especially proud of the sustainability activities featured throughout all aspects of the tournament and the many events held during the week.

DEAR TOURNAMENT PATRONS,

On behalf of TD SYNNEX Corporation, I am pleased to welcome you to the 2023 BMW Charity Pro-Am. As presenting sponsor for the past 12 years, the tournament has been an integral part of our company’s story.

Each year along with BMW, we enjoy hosting the players, celebrities, and spectators who visit Greenville for this great event. It’s a pleasure to show off the place we call home, including our thriving downtown, golf courses and clubs. It’s also fun being with so many locals who attend the tournament.

But what’s most important about tournament week is the impact it has on our greater community. In 2023, this will include assisting local cancer patients, helping children suffering from illnesses and disabilities, providing meals to homebound citizens, enabling children to succeed in school, and providing access to science education. TD SYNNEX is humbled to have played a part in the more than $15 million dollars raised since the tournament’s inception in 2001, and we look forward to seeing this number climb in the years ahead.

Our merger in 2021 with Tech Data created the world’s largest IT distribution company. And just as the BMW Charity Pro-Am is about more than golf, TD SYNNEX is about more than IT distribution. Our story is largely about getting involved in the communities we serve. And the tournament is just one of the many ways our more than 1,000 Greenville associates are able to give back.

We hope you have a great time enjoying the golf and meeting a few celebrities this week. And while you’re at it, we invite you to learn more about the tournament’s philanthropic impact.
