A Place Worthy of Their Service...
After years of working in a repurposed storage building, the military working dogs of F.E. Warren Air Force Base finally have a facility built with their well-being in mind. The new $8 million kennel features heated, waste-resistant floors, a veterinary exam room, and thoughtful touches designed to reduce stress and enhance care. These dogs dedicate their lives to protecting others, and now, they have a place that honors their loyalty, courage, and service.
Adding to the significance of the day, the ceremony included a tribute to Rio —a devoted narcotics detection dog retiring after nearly seven years of service, now headed home with his former handler for a life of comfort in Las Vegas.

Celebrating Community & Country AMERICA’s 250th
Wyoming’s 135th
In July 1890, Wyoming became the 44th state in the Union, but the groundwork was laid a year earlier, when the people of the territory adopted a bold and forwardthinking constitution. Ratified in November 1889, the Wyoming Constitution was called “a progressive document” by early newspapers and is still one of the only state constitutions to remain largely unchanged today.
Despite national controversy and skepticism, it was the first constitution in the nation to grant women the right to vote, solidifying Wyoming’s legacy as the Equality State. As one editorial declared, “If we can’t get into the Union with female suffrage, let us stay out until reason returns to Congress.” Women voted on the constitution itself, ensuring their voices helped secure its passage and Wyoming’s path to statehood.
From concerns over water rights in a semi-arid land to ballot integrity and tax reform, the constitution reflected the voices of farmers, lawyers, and everyday citizens working together to shape a just and lasting foundation.
To commemorate this milestone, the Cheyenne & Laramie County America 250 Commission is proud to present “Echoes of Wyoming History at America 250.” This installation will feature four stunning bronze panels (40 × 60) tracing Wyoming’s journey—from ancient landscapes and Indigenous heritage to its trailblazing role in suffrage and the American West.

Cleared for Landing: Cheyenne Arts & Aviation Center
Cheyenne is preparing to touch down on an innovative cultural landmark: the Arts & Aviation Center. Housed in the historic 1961 airport terminal, this revitalization project seamlessly blends mid-century modern architecture with vibrant arts programming. The Center will host galleries, community meeting spaces, public art installations, and aviationthemed exhibits paying homage to Cheyenne’s early role in commercial air travel.
Spurred by a National Endowment for the Arts “Our Town” grant in 2023, Arts Cheyenne launched a planning and design charrette to gather input and envision a dynamic public space. With support from local preservationists and aviation enthusiasts, the project is now taxiing into view— poised to become a unique hub where creativity takes flight.

The Ultimate Grilled Chicken Marinade
By Kathleen Ashmore

Everyone you know is going to want this recipe...
• 1.5 lbs chicken breasts
• ¼ cup olive oil
• Juice of 1 orange

• 2 tbsp coconut aminos
• 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
• 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
• 2 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tsp Kosher salt
• 1 tsp black pepper
1. Cut chicken in half horizontally and open like a book.
2. Season chicken breasts with salt and set aside.
3. Whisk all marinade ingredients in a large bowl and add chicken breast halves.
4. Toss chicken to coat fully and submerge.
5. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for 4–6 hours, tossing halfway through.
6. Remove chicken from the refrigerator 30 minutes before you plan to cook.
7. Preheat the grill and oil the grates.
8. Grill chicken on medium-high for 4–6 minutes per side or until cooked through.
9. Let rest for 15 minutes, and serve.
Also great for shrimp skewers!

PROTECT YOURSELF AGAINST DOCUMENT FRAUD WITH DOCUMENT ALERTS
Property fraud might not make headlines often, but it’s one of the fastest-growing white-collar crimes in the country. In many cases, criminals forge and record fraudulent documents to make it appear as if they own someone else’s property—then try to profit from that false claim. The worst part? Most victims don’t realize anything is wrong until it’s too late.
Fortunately, there’s an easy, no-cost way to stay a step ahead.

Document Alert is a free service that helps homeowners protect their property by notifying them whenever a document is recorded under their name or associated with their parcel number. If someone attempts to tamper with your title or file a fraudulent document, you’ll get an email alert right away, which gives you the chance to investigate and act before the situation escalates.
How It Works:
Once you’re signed up, the system monitors public records and sends an automated email any time a new document is filed that matches your information. You decide whether the filing is legitimate. If it’s not, you can take steps to stop the fraud and protect your property. Visit
