WE ARE EXCITED TO INTRODUCE YOU TO 1NAME CHURCH. We pray that the next few pages will help you discover who we are, what God has placed in our hearts, and how we can accomplish the vision with your help. We have crafted this booklet with you in mind and commit to answer any questions that you may have, as well as inspire you to partner with us on this journey.

1Name Church is a Jesus-centered church built around the presence of God. We are all about letting people know about Jesus and his sacrifice on the cross for our sins. We are all about the name of Jesus and we want people to know about him. We want to empower and equip people to live in their identity in Jesus so they can tell the world about his name. We will not stop until every person knows the name of Jesus.

our past PASTORS COREY & JAMIE FARVER

Corey and Jamie have grown up in the local church. Since they got married at the age of 21, they have embraced and pursued a God-given vision to lead people to change the world with the message of the Gospel. The time has come for that vision to unfold further as they launch 1Name Church in South Florida.

For over a decade, Corey has led at Potential Church in Cooper City, FL. During his tenure, he has successfully led as a Youth Pastor and Campus Pastor. In the last two years, he has had the opportunity to lead as the Campus Pastor at Potential Church Hallandale Campus in Hallandale Beach, FL. Having been given the opportunity to preach multiple times a year to thousands of people, Corey has developed an engaging and effective gift for communicating the truths of Scripture in a clear, relevant, and practical way.

Jamie is an incredible wife, mother, and leader. Her love for others and commitment to excellence have set her apart. She has over 10 years of full-time ministry experience and has a bachelor’s degree in Christian Ministry from Trinity International University. Because of her experience, Jamie is well acquainted with both the joys and struggles of pioneering a local church. Her wisdom, discernment, and leadership skills will greatly benefit the launch and establishment of 1Name Church in South Florida.

Corey and Jamie have a daughter named Jacie Leigh, born in 2018. She is the joy of their life. They believe family is a priority and want to build a church as a family, where families are transformed by the name of Jesus.

We plan to build 1Name Church around Jesus. Our vision is simple and biblical. Our heart is to build a thriving local church, that “BRINGS PEOPLE WHO DON’T KNOW JESUS TO KNOW HIS NAME AND EQUIP THEM TO GO TELL THE WORLD”. We believe when you know Jesus, everything changes. Inspiring Weekend Services: We will create worship experiences that glorify God and inspire people to elevate Jesus in their everyday life, from our kids ministry to our adult services. We want every one of our worship experiences to inspire people to want more of God. We call them “experiences” because our goal is to passionately pursue the Presence of God and set people up for a life-changing encounter with Jesus.

Life Giving Groups: We will create life-giving community within groups that build people up while they grow in Christ. We believe that the church is not a building or a location or even just a weekend experience. We believe that the church is people, and people were created to be in relationship. Our connect groups are designed to provide a place for people to belong and experience the life-giving community of authentic relationships. 1Name Church will provide a variety of groups that will focus on bringing people to KNOW Jesus. These demographics will target specific groups like children, women, men, teenagers, creative arts, and more.

World-Changing Outreach: We will equip people to enhance our community by creating easy opportunities for them to serve. We have a vision to change the world, and we believe the best way to accomplish this is to equip God’s people to change their world. Therefore, we are aggressive in our efforts to empower His people to reach as many as possible with the love and message of Jesus.

Intentional Leadership Development: We will create an environment that will develop and disciple people into the person God has created them to be. We believe that the essence of leadership is influence and that everyone has the capacity to influence others.

The Walk Track: The Walk Track is designed to help people become an “all in� follower of Jesus Christ. From the initial decision of knowing Jesus to find out more about the vision of 1Name Church, to a fulfilling leadership role on our team, we will provide people with a path to experience growth and fulfillment in their walk with Christ. The Walk is also the assimilation process of 1Name Church that walks people through being first-time guests to fully engaged members and participants in the life of the church.

Home Team: The Home team is a group of amazing people just like you who desire to be apart of 1Name Church and make an impact in their city in various departments, according to their unique abilities. These are the servant leaders that make 1Name Church happen.
