Richard Mille has supported Alfa Romeo Racing Team since 2018, the year when Kimi was signed by the Swiss manufacturer. Crowned world champion in 2007 after being vice world champion in 2003 and 2005, the 39-year-old racer is a seasoned veteran on the 2019 stage. At the Singapore Grand Prix, the so-called “Iceman” will have the chance to take his 307th start.

Now he’ll take pride in wearing the RM 50-04. This extremely technical calibre is fitted with a split-seconds chronograph tourbillon and a grade-5 titanium and Carbon TPT® movement that weighs just 7g. To combine these complications within a single mechanism required perfect transmission of energy to ensure faultless operation. The need to reduce friction led the research team to improve the profile of the teeth on the barrel and the second wheel pinion. The latter led to an excellent distribution of torque and an optimised output. The combination of the tourbillon escapement and the chronograph paired with the unprecedented fine skeletonisation make this particularly innovative watch the absolute chronograph perfection.

The colours used on the C38 single-seater are showcased on the bezel and case back in white Quartz TPT®. This is achieved by interlaying 600 layers of silicon each 45 microns thick and impregnating them with a white matrix before heating them to 120 °C in an autoclave. This process gives the material a very high resistance/weight ratio, non-allergenic properties, and excellent resistance to UV rays. Developed by North Thin Ply Technology NTPT™, the technique is also used on the Carbon TPT ® middle case, but this time using carbon fibres. Sun Food and Beverage visited Chengdu to discuss the cooperation direction with relevant local institutions to strengthen the exchanges between Chengdu and Macao. On 24 September, Sun Food and Beverage was granted “Executive Member of the Council of the Chengdu City of Gastronomy Association” and “Director of Group Membership of Sichuan Provincial Hospitality Industrial Association” by Ms Wu Yunqin, Secretary General of the Chengdu City of Gastronomy Association, under the witnesses of Ms Zhu Rong, Deputy Director General of the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and Ms Gao Haiwei, Deputy Secretary General of Sichuan Province Hospitality Industrial Association and Chengdu City of Gastronomy Association. The certifications were accepted by Ms Candy Chau, Executive Director of Sun Food and Beverage Group Limited and General Manager Mr Ken Cho. Sun Food and Beverage was highly praised for its enthusiasm and persistence of retaining the traditional food culture and adopting natural ingredients. It will organize exchange activities for Chengdu and Macao catering business units in the future, hoping that the two cities, which have been awarded the title of “City of Gastronomy” by UNESCO, will work together to promote the Chinese traditional food culture worldwide.

Sunset on the Yacht

The sunset at Manila Bay is said to be one of the eight most beautiful views in the world.

The city glows as night falls. One of the best ways to enjoy the scene is to board a yacht and get away from the crowd. The luxurious 32-m long yacht painted in gold caught my eyes as soon as I walked into Manila Yacht Club. The staff on board were friendly and helpful. I felt pampered even before it set off.

The Suncity Yacht has its name etched on it. It has 5 suites, each equipped with a private bathroom, DVD player and luxurious BOSE sound system. All furniture is made by deluxe Italian label FENDI CASA. My favourite part, however, is the jacuzzi on the deck, where I can sit back and enjoy the water massage while looking across the boundless sea.

The departure and arrival times of Suncity Yacht are flexible and can be tailored to your own schedule. The captain would also anchor the ship near Fortune Island or a desert island depending on the weather. As an island country, Philippines’ policies have a strong focus on marine ecology. Not only does it have an abundant supply of seafood, the quality and diversity of them are also impressive. Fresh gourmet seafood such as mantis shrimps, lobsters, crabs and groupers can easily be found. However, the Philippine style of fried seafood may not suit everyone. Fortunately, there are also Hong Kong-style restaurants that can satisfy the pickiest palate.

All chefs at L.Y.K at City of Dreams Manila are from Hong Kong and have extensive experience in the kitchen. They offer authentic Hong Kong

dishes, such as Typhoon Shelter Crabs. The dish features an abundance of garlic blended with the aroma of crab oil. The heat from the chilli perfectly compliments the texture of the crab. It is difficult to stop eating once you start! Other exquisite seafood dishes include Baked Lobster and Noodles with Cheese and Chilled Mantis Shrimps. The restaurant also offers barbecue pork, hot pot, sashimi, egg tarts and other traditional Cantonese dishes. Even the very typical Stockings Milk Tea can be found here. The strong aroma and smooth texture combines perfectly to create the best milk tea ever.

蜘蛛山享新鮮空氣 菲律賓迷人的海島風光總是令人流連忘返，但其實菲律 賓 的 山 景 更 值 得 一 遊！距 離 馬 尼 拉 約 2 小 時 車 程 的 Masungi Georeserve，是個喀斯特地形的自然保護區。這裡除了擁有奇 特的石灰岩地形，還設有生態步道、空中繩橋及以鋼索制作的 蜘蛛網，讓您化身“ 蜘蛛俠 ”穿梭其中，在半空中欣賞大自然的 壯麗景色，故這裡亦被稱為“ 蜘蛛山 ”。 園區內分了多條不同路線，我這次就選了 Discovery Trail 的 體驗，整個行程約 4 小時，同時也能抵達近年的熱門登山景點 “ 蜘蛛網（Sapot）”！在石林上的繩網爬上爬下，雖有點恐懼， 但只要細看四周開闊宜人的風景，恐懼感即時化作成興奮感！ 工作人員指自 1990 年代後期，這裡非法砍伐和採石的情況很嚴 重，直到管理團隊進駐後，經過 20 多年時間的修復，這保護區 才形成現今樣貌，成為各種動植物的天堂。聽過解說後，終於 走到了行程中的重頭戲 Sapot，這個懸掛於山林之上，像蜘蛛網 一樣的空中觀景台，可欣賞到菲律賓最大的湖泊貝湖，同時也 是打卡拍照的最佳位置。發揮您的創意，在這定能拍出許多有 趣的照片！

Fresh Air at Spider Mountain

If you enjoy the island scenery of the Philippines, then the mountains will further take you by surprise. Masungi Georeserve, which is a two-hour drive from Manila, is a conservation area of the karst topology. Apart from interesting limestone formations, there are also an ecological walkway, a suspension bridge and a giant metal spider web where visitors can admire at the mesmerising view mid-air. The spider web has also given the place its name of “spider mountain”.

There are several trails in the geopark. This time, I have chosen to walk the Discovery Trail that takes approximately 4 hours to complete. It leads walkers to popular hiking spot Sapot (Cobweb), where people can crawl on the suspended netting while enjoying the mountain views. It was quite scary to begin with but the fear quickly turned to excitement. According to the staff, illegal logging and quarrying was rampant in the area in the late 1990s.

It was only after 20 years of conservation that the park has been transformed into a haven for a wide range of animals and plants. Sapot acts as a viewing platform in the sky, from where Laguna de Bay - Philippines’ largest lake can be seen. It is also a great photo spot for many creative shots!

Oldest Stone Church

The Philippines used to be a Spanish colony. The history has deep influence on the country and traces can be found in many buildings. San Agustin Church in Intramuros is the oldest stone church in the Philippines and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as an example of Baroque architecture.

The majestic arch at the gate, stone wall and delicate carving and sculptures are typical of Spanish architecture.

The stone architecture continues onto the neighbouring museum, which is further decorated with charming drawings.

It is like stepping into a medieval castle. The museum has a rich collection of paintings and antiques, depicting the history of the Catholic church in the country and Spanish rule. I am most impressed by the lovely drawings on the corridor that document the change of San Agustin Church throughout different periods. The amount of history the church contains is simply remarkable.

Linh Phuoc Pagoda: Space of Imagination

Linh Phuoc Pagoda is said to be one of the most glamourous shrines in Vietnam. The walls inside are covered with porcelain mosaics, pieced together perfectly to form different shapes and colours. The temple, built in 1953, is not particularly old but it showcases exquisite craftmanship. The manpower involved in creating the mosaics was tremendous.

There are other mosaic works in the temple featuring dragons and phoenixes. The blue tiles and furniture inside are classic and modern at the same time. Many worshippers pay a visit to the shrine for a glimpse of its glamour.

As the green sand beach is hidden in the deepest part under the cliff, visitors need to take a pick-up truck or Jeep from the car park to the beach and ride for about 1.5 hours to get to the primitive pearl of natural beauty. The power of nature can never be underestimated. It impresses people with the colorful lakes and beaches, but what’s more, it soothes the destruction done by humans and turns it into something beautiful. Once a dump with a lot of discarded ceramic and glass bottles, the coastal area in the eastern Russia got a total facelift after being polished by the constant waves. The beach became a piece of glittering art shining in the sun.

The dangerous and uncharted place used to be covered with sharp glass fragments, finally it is officially named the “Glass Beach” with special protection by Russian authorities. Located in the Ussuri Bay near Vladivostok, the beach extends 67 km with width from 10 to 55 km and is about 40 m deep. It is now a popular scenic spot filled with colorful “pebbles” which are the remnants of bottles. They are usually green or white, but occasionally you can find blue, brown or pink ones. These beautiful pebbles can also be made into delicate accessories.

Although the underwater animals are too lazy to greet, you can see the odd-shaped rift when you dive under the ice. Reach out and you will then touch the Eurasian and American Plates.

This is what you can see when you are ice diving at Silfra rift in Thingvellir National Park, Iceland.

Silfra means “silver lady” in Icelandic. It is a fissure between the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates. With outstanding environment protection and nature conservation by the Iceland government, Silfra is the clearest water on earth with over 100m visibility underwater.
