Draft Guidance
With all the controversy around RSE, it’s more important than ever that schools stand firm in the understanding that children require knowledge to inform healthy relationships. RSE day is a great opportunity to highlight this importance. As ever, we’re contributing to this important day and would love for our schools to be involved.
Draft Guidance Recap: We are aware of the new proposed changes to RSHE and want to reassure schools that any changes to the curriculum will be reflected within the 1decision subscription content, in line with the new guidance as it emerges.
At present, 1decision content remains compliant with the current guidance.
As we prepare for the final guidance to be published, we remain optimistic that it will provide solid benchmarking for teachers, whilst still putting the needs of children first and foremost. If you have any questions, please get in touch with the team at info@1decision.co.uk

For Child Safety Week, we’ve selected some of our most popular resources for delivering poignant PSHE lessons in primary schools.
Staying Safe, suggested for Yr 3, focuses on the myth of stranger danger. The video from this topic follows the story of Lucy and her sister Scarlett regarding a choice they need to make on their way home from school.
“We had a fantastic response from our year 3 pupils regarding the staying safe video. It’s great at challenging the stereotypes that put children at risk, for example, stranger danger and helping to decide who we can trust.”
