With the 2023 season underway, transformative changes have begun within the food and beverage operation Behind the leadership of Chef Frederick, our dedicated team has spearheaded a strategic shift towards growth and innovation that will revolutionize the culinary programs raising the bar for dining experiences.

We recognize the importance of staying at the forefront of culinary trends while maintaining the timeless elegance and sophistication that define our membership With this vision in mind, we embarked on a journey to assemble a team of culinarians who possess a profound understanding of evolving tastes, cutting-edge techniques, and the art of flavor fusion in addition to classic creations

Club-wide event attendance for special events has been noticeably strong Smokehouse at the Boathouse was a tremendous success, and the beautiful weather did not disappoint! The addition of a second fireworks event on Labor Day weekend with cuisine honoring the heritage brought forth by many of our international culinary teams is under way This event will serve as the ‘rain date’ for the traditional Independence Day Fireworks and BBQ, solidifying at least one firework display for the season (but hopefully two!)

The return of the black-tie Gold Racquets Gala was extremely well received pushing the limits on seating capacity in the Ballroom, and we have five member’s children's weddings on the books!

As the temperatures rise, the social environment of the Lakeside at Main continues to shine as Chef’s menu melds modernity with classic dishes, which feature ingredients from local Hudson Valley and surrounding farms That, coupled with increased touch-point service, delivers an ambience that strives to exceed expectations After a few years hiatus, the master cellar wine list has been redeveloped proving to be a tremendous addition to the Lakeside experience Our wine dinners, which are always a member favorite, will continue throughout the year as well

The newly redone dinner menu at the Golf Clubhouse offers a steakhouse concept with harmonious fusion of international tastes. Our goal is to continuously capture the palates of our members by creating a dining experience which combines the eclectic energy brought by the members and staff alike The additions to our Halfway House (HWH) include a multitude of daily specials along with an increased offering of beverages including specialty cocktails and spirits If the HWH doesn’t have what you are looking for, place your order and the hospitality team will be more than willing to deliver your drinks to you on the course

The Poolside Bar and Grille looks for continued success after the kitchen and bar renovation last season resulted in unprecedented attendance. Opening Memorial Day weekend, the staff has been hard at work crafting concepts to enhance the relaxed dining experience on the deck With the core summer culinary staff returning, be sure to check out what they’ve been working on this offseason
