CLUB UPDATE

Welcome to this special edition of our 1886 magazine, the Annual State of the Club issue, which reflects on another remarkable year at our very special club. It is with great pleasure that we present this compilation of accomplishments, memories, and insights via messages from our Committee Chairs and Senior Management
The Club continues to fare well financially despite unprecedented inflation, an ongoing, challenging labor market and some unplanned personnel changes We continue to invest in our physical plant assets that drive a top tier member experience. Currently, the Board and House Committee are in the planning process for refurbishment of all er spaces across both campuses re-opening last May, the golf course has ed rave reviews from members and their Over the next several months, the remaining areas will continue to grow in and we expect te Summer and Fall views will be as ficent as in previous years. The course got a est last Fall with the MGA Mid-Amateur which ed its usual stern test for the area ’ s best s, and we ‘passed’ with great accolades ets saw the return of the Gold Racquets end in February where we welcomed a record er of attendees at all events including the tie soiree. Hadden Tomes featured a western and saw the Club transformed with a wagon dinner and mechanical bull Yes, there parently even videos of some of our bravest lers!
The Boathouse was brought to a new level with both the addition of our new Boat Master, Ted Thiessen, and the refurbishment of all Club boats last season. We saw record highs for rentals and usage of all of our smaller craft This year will build further on activities with the 2nd Annual 1886 Regatta and expanded fishing programs for all ages

We welcomed our new Executive Chef, Frederick Daniel, last August This past winter allowed time to develop our new Golf House dinner menu concept and to plan for the many anticipated Club events throughout the year The Children’s Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Brunch started us off with another record high attendance. The summer season will feature not just our Independence Day festivities but a variety of wine tastings, children's events, Nine and Dines, golf events and much, much more.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to each and every member for their unwavering support and loyalty Your commitment to our club is the foundation upon which we continue to build extraordinary experiences There is no better way to support the Club than to continue to introduce new members, and this year you helped us welcome more than 40 new families to the Club
We have much to be proud of as a Club and I look forward to many more years of
