A Message from Frank Peverly, Board Chair

It is my pleasure to welcome you to our most current edition of 1886 Magazine and our Annual Highlights issue This Magazine, and various communications you have seen from our Club throughout the year, is an effort to put more timely information in front of our membership and to encourage you to enjoy the wonderful experiences available on the beautiful campuses that make up The Tuxedo Club.

The accomplishments and memories presented in this Magazine reflects your Board of Governors' efforts to focus upon five key pillars for The Tuxedo Club:

Develop and enhance a strong family-oriented Club.

Continuously improve and expand our diverse and unique array of amenities

Attract, retain, and develop the professional staf

Honor our proud heritage and tradition

Have an unwavering focus on the member experience

Through robust strategic and long-term planning, oversight of our numerous and unique sports offerings, to the mundane but necessary enhancement of our computer systems and Human Resources processes, your Board (with support from many volunteer member committees) puts in countless hours to ensure our exceptional management team has the resources and capabilities to provide you with the perfect visit every time.

It is an iterative process that begins with the Tuxedo Club Vision, proceeds through Board and Management actions, and continues with documented and monitored results for the Board to act upon and adjust as necessary I hope the results have earned us your trust and support as we continue to enhance this Club

Of course, none of this happens without your active engagement at events, in bringing in new members, and in volunteering on our many committees This is our Club, and we are the current care takers of it for future generations to enjoy A great Club is reflected in the utilization of its facilities and amenities, a strong financial balance sheet, and the pipeline of new members being brought in by our current members. In all three of these areas, the Club is strong.

Looking forward to the next year, you will see continuous improvements as we bring together the elements of our Club and Golf Master Plans, with our capital and engineering studies, to create a long-term plan and actions that sets a clear direction for the Club and its future investments for the next decade Second to a strong membership, the value of our Club is improved through the growth of our capital plant and amenities Your Board takes its role as a steward of our Club’s long-term sustainability and value seriously.

The mission of the Club is, in part, to provide our members with a positive social experience in all our recreational activities, dining and entertaining experiences, and special events These next several pages reflect the foundation upon which we will build more extraordinary experiences for you to enjoy I thank you and your families, for the support provided to our management, your Board of Governors, and myself I look forward to seeing you at The Tuxedo Club this summer!
