New for 2023 - the Club’s motorized fleet has expanded rental windows – available by reservation: 10:00am-12:00pm, 12:30pm2:30pm, 4:00pm-6:00pm and 6:30pm-8:30pm. As always, please call the Front Desk in advance of your reservation if you would like food or beverages on board your boat ahead of your departure from the dock

On the fishing front we're pleased to report that the bass are biting, and the trout are hungry! The Club’s rowboat is available seven days a week with trolling motor capabilities Please see Ted for assistance with motors, poles, and lures

PLEASE NOTE: The Village of Tuxedo Park does require a New York Department of Conservation fishing license to be on your person when fishing lake waters, including on Club property

EASTER 2023

We had an incredible Easter Weekend at the Club with over 465 members in attendance for the weekend's festivities.

On Easter Saturday, we had a visit from our favorite blue-eyed bunny who hid over 1,600 Easter eggs covering the back lawn making for an exciting hunt for everyone involved.

Colorful spring tulips & jellybeans dressed the Clubhouse making for a wonderful welcome to Spring! We had a delightful turn out for Easter Sunday brunch with members seated in every room

Chef Fredrick and his team curated tasteful spreads throughout the weekend for all who attended

Looking forward to our busy Summer season and to seeing everyone around the Club soon!

TUXEDO RECIPE
PERFECT FOR THE DERBY MAY 6TH!

THE TUXEDO MINT JULEP

Recipe Courtesy of Mixologist Brian Weber

h, the Mint Julep... the official drink of the Kentucky Derby.

e traditional drink involves muddling mint and sugar in the ttom of a frosted Julep cup, then adding bourbon, crushed ice d more mint.

ere's our fruity and bright twist on the Derby classic gredients:

2 oz Bourbon

Juice of ½ small lime

½ tsp sugar (or more to taste)

5-6 mint leaves, plus a small bunch for garnish

2 medium strawberries, cut vertically into slices

Ginger beer to top

ethod:

Place a Julep cup, a Moscow Mule cup, or a rocks glass in the freezer for at least 10 minutes. Prepare a "short straw" by cutting about 3" off a standard straw

In a cocktail shaker, add sugar, mint and strawberries (reserving the best-looking slice for garnish). Gently muddle (aggressive muddling will turn the mint bitter)

Add bourbon, lime juice, and cubed ice Shake for about 10 seconds

Strain into the frozen cup containing (ideally) crushed ice. Top with ginger beer. Gently stir to combine.

Garnish with the small bunch of mint and strawberry slice Serve with a short straw
