Sleep Innovators Community

Service System Design/ UI/UX Design Individual Project

The community of the future will focus more on the "person" and redefine it with the " state of life". How to define sleep? How has the relationship between people and people, people and communities changed?

This is a service design with online and offline integration.

Research found that people lose confidence and suffer from anxiety due to lack of understanding of sleep.

To build a community of sleep innovators and allow users totruly explore their sleep clock and sleep key through a trial sleep experience service.

Note: The data presented in this project were obtained from the participants' consent.

Misunderstanding

When you think your sleep quality is poor, your brain may actually have been repaired.

Lack of confidence and conflict with communal routines are major sleep problems. Accepting your own sleep, and providing a harmonious environment, can solve it.

How to enroll more users?

Users are interested in this item.

Considerations needed:

Can the user's problem be solved?

Will cost make it difficult to join?

Expect financial support from the government in the future.

Part of the experience fee can be used to reduce the property fee.

How to use the methodology?

Will owners be averse to mobile neighbors? have used the methods of interviews, cultural probe toolkits, desk exercises, and user tracking. Could the design approach be more flexible?

Writing is more complex than talking.

So get subjective answers in interviews and objective information in culture probes.

Dynamic adaptation and combination of design methodologies will bring discoveries.

It is crucial to redesign the "Design methodologies" based on the needs of the stage to get information.

Virus Lab

Interaction Design / Food Design Individual Project

Are viruses really that scary?

Virus Lab invites people into the lab to make" "jelly to bring people closer to viruses and reduce the pervasive fear of viruses. In the future, the word "virus" will not be taken so seriously.

Background

01 Virus History

The cumulative number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 worldwide exceeds 6.2*108 Fear of the virus has caused suffering.

02 Viruses & People

Ⅱ Traditional Diseases

03 Empathy

Pains

People fall into pervasive fear, because they predict viruses to be lethal. Before being infected by the virus, person breaks down first.

Viruses with high lethality kill their hosts and eventually become extinct due to lack of receptors. Less virulent viruses tend to live in symbiosis with humans.

Many viruses are transmitted to the human body by the"mouth". The"mouth" is a crucial focus for viruses.

Opportunities

Make the virus appear as a safe image. Transform people’inherent perceptions of viruses to alleviate fear.

SAY THINK

"Who can help us defeat the virus."

"When will the effective drug be available?"

"Disinfection and sterilization are important."

The epidemic area is all around me.

The government issues stern warnings.

Exposure to the virus is unfortunate. Humans

The virus has so many repercussions that hate it.

The virus is invisible yet everywhere. Try not to touch people. Interest is missing.

The mouth becomes a private part. The streets are empty.

DO SEE

"I just want Possibilities:

"I want to reproduce and spread."

THINK

Cleared by the immune system. Dies with host.

Long-term coexistence with humans.

Silent contagion. Coexist with the host.

"I do not cause death." Reduces virulence and prolongs life.

Viruses

Survival is tiring. I feel aggrieved. There are also good viruses.

FEEL

How people recognize viruses is crucial.

Final Output

A narrative of the interaction between poets, peasants, workers and Papernos in the form of experimental images.

Opening Title

Circle: Poet secretly looking for salvation.

Small ticket drops: The poet finds Papernos.

Keep printing small tickets: Papernos has many believers.

Entangled in the small tickets: The poet depends on Papernos.

The poet participates in the vow of washing evil.

Writing the hidden depression in the heart on the psychic paper.

Secrets are stuffed into the shredder: Psychic communication with tPapernos.

The poet is hypnotized when he makes gestural prayers.

Peasants are also hypnotized.

Workers are also hypnotized.

Every time you exchange secrets with Papernos, you will get a small ticket.

Seance: Papernos advent.

The poet is curious.

Many mysterious notes are found.

The paper strips grow in number and overwhelm the believers.

The poet recognizes that some of the scraps of paper contain secrets from himself.

The poet is awakened, and hypnosis ends.

A frantic search for small tickets in the box to confirm which secrets were exposed.

In the process of reminiscing, the inner depression is released.

The poet’s pain is healed.

Workers are turning to Papernos.

Peasants are turning to Papernos.

More people are becoming believers.

Individual Project

It is a project based on "E-Skin" technology. Is it possible to change the color of human skin by controlling the volume of colored cells with electric current in the future ? Skin Wizard offers hand-held skin regulator and wearable color filter glasses, which aims to get rid of the trouble of skin color difference and can be applied in multiple scenarios in daily life.

What will you choose when you are free to change your skin color?
