Float between the trees A little cluster of wide tents hang right between the trees in Systofte woods, in unspoilt natural surroundings. This is TREELIFE SKYCAMP, where guests can stay the night a couple of metres above the ground. The floating tents are suspended tautly between the trees, so that the bases are firm and comfortable to lie on. There is room for a family of two adults and two children in each. The man who thought up this unusual idea is Tejs Sigsgaard, who gets his tents from the UK. He owns the woods, and besides the tents, there is a well-fitted-out building in the area with baths and toilet facilities, a kitchen, seating space, and ready packed “survival kits”. If you feel like spending a night or two between the trees, you can book a tent on the website. You then receive a code for the door and a box that contains everything you need. In the box there are things like saucepans for the bonfires, a saw, an axe and a range of kitchen utensils. Before you arrive, Tejs hangs the tent up, and if you can’t all sleep in one tent, there is a family area with several tents close together. Otherwise the tents are scattered between the trees, so you can feel completely alone in the woods. Se more details here: www.visitlolland-falster.com
