Welcome The Bush Music Festival, staged in Marrickville Community Centre, in beautiful Park located in 142 Addison Road, happens each year in September. We thank the many sponsors who support this event and enable us to offer world-class music at affordable prices.

The Bush Music Festival celebrated its 25th anniversary in 28th Sept.1st Oct. with several events that brought together people to take part in. Celebrating the roots, richness, and variety of Australian culture. It was an absolute joy to see and hear how you are celebrating with loved ones in Bush Music Festival.

Performance The Festival is a family-friendly cultural and has a variety of folk music.

Some 50 artists perform and have unpredictable mash-ups where artists collaborate in unique and unexpected ways, sharing songs and stories.

Featured artisits will include Paul Mckenna,Lucie Thorne,Johnny Huckle, Dan Walsh, Shane Howard, The Bushwackers,Yolanda Brown, Stella Donnell, Alistair Hulet,The Grubby Urchins,In your Dreams String Band,Stumpy Gully Bush Band,Crooked Road, Possums on the POrch, Greg Champion,Khristian Mizzi,Paul Wookey, Jose Garcia,Bruce Watson, Henk Groot and more.

Besides Music We have a heritage workshop where can come shop for the beautiful, the useful and the unique handicrafts by local artisans and artists. And also can have some delicious food like damper baking and Billy tea. We also provide some activities that can experience tradtions, which include bushranger re-enactment, traditional instrument display,Australian films, fancy dress ball and silver jubilee dance composition.

We’re easily accessible by public transport. We are located a 15 minute walk from Stanmore train station, and the 428 bus stops directly outside

the Centre on Addison Road. We also have bike racks on site as well as free and accessibilityfriendly parking available for all visitors.
