Lo-fi is a music production quality in which elements usually regarded as imperfections in the context of a recording or performance are present, sometimes as a deliberate choice. The popularity of lo-fi music skyrocketed when YouTubers, like Lofi Girl, started broadcasting live streams of non-stop tracks.

All In is focusing on transparency of food and waste from farm to table. The reconstruction of the building will include spaces that will allow customers to interact and learn. This can be seen in the large windows, the open restaurant, the bar that interacts with the roof top garden, and the classroom to share education about waste to everyone. The company is using local farms and sources to stock both the restaurant and market keeping money within the community.
The objective of All In is to reduce food waste by utilizing food as it nears the sell by date from the market within the restaurant, and to use food scraps for compost. Any scraps that cannot be used can be sent back to local farms to feed livestock. The cooking classrooms will be a place to teach the community cooking, canning, and preserving various foods to encourage a circular society. Materials are inspired by the terrarium such as stone, wood, glass, and natural elements like moss. The colors are inspired by the Fittonia plant which carries pink and green along with the color of the stones and dirt seen in the bottom of the terrarium.

Confluence: a coming or flowing together, meeting, or gathering. This can be a literal meaning of two rivers or streams meeting, or a figurative meaning of a unity of two ideas. There is a barrier between those who can hear and those who cannot.
The design, like water, will merge into a functional space for the deaf or hard of hearing and the hearing. The ceiling will incorporate a pattern or design that runs across the ceiling and down the walls. All of the senses will be incorporated, but sight, touch, and smell will be emphasized by lighting, acoustic wall panels, and easy to clean surfaces.

Interpret is a tech marketing company using “global insights helping our media, entertainment and technology clients make informed decisions.” While their website is a darker moodier atmosphere, they want to have an open space for their staff to thrive and create along with a bright environment for their employees. Access to natural light will be achieved for each staff member as glass and kinetic modular systems will be specified for enclosed spaces.
The strongest inspiration for the space is related to Italian Futurism and circuit board design to represent the companies data analysis and planning for the future. The floor plan will resemble a circuit board including a central hub for employees to congregate, along with way-finding elements including color changing LED fixtures. Integrating sustainability will be achieved by using natural and sustainable green companies.

Pop art was birthed in the United Kingdom in the 1950s amidst a postwar sociopolitical climate where artists turned toward celebrating commonplace objects and elevating the everyday to the level of fine art. Pop Art’s refreshing reintroduction of identifiable imagery, drawn from media and popular culture, was a major shift for the direction of modernism. With roots in NeoDada and other movements that questioned the very definition of “art” itself.
American artists soon followed suit to become the most famous of the movement. They rejected traditional historic subject matters and used society’s ever-present infiltration of mass manufactured products and images that dominated the visual realm. These Artists are responsible for the incorporation of commercial images and with that, Pop Art has become one of the most recognizable styles of modern art.
