Our 53.9 hectare property development project is on-going and we need well qualified and experienced candidates for the following position: All positions open require staffs to be stationed in Vientiane, Lao PDR.
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop and maintain systems of internal financial controls • Assist in the development and negotiation of contracts • Ensure adequate cash flow to meet the company’s needs • Assists the Chief Operating Officer (COO) on matters related to budget management, cost benefit analysis and forecasting needs ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • Preference will be given to candidates with MBA in Finance or Certified Public Accountant or other recognized professional finance accounting qualification. • University graduates in accounting or business administration • Minimum 5 years working experience related to field • Highly analytical and with the ability to work under pressure • Excellent command of written and spoken English • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office and relevant software
ACCOUNTANT (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Prepare profit and loss, monthly and year-end cost accounting reports • Establish, maintain and coordinate implementation of accounting control procedures • Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices and other accounting documents • Interact with internal and external auditors in completing audits ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • Preference will be given to candidates with recognized professional finance accounting qualification. • Diploma or higher degree in Accounting • At least 2 years experience in accounting or related field. • Good command of written and spoken English • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and relevant software • Systematic with strong computing and evaluative skills
PROJECT DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee projects within a Specific Economic Zone to ensure timely on budget completion of sub-parcel development projects • Oversee the Construction and Planning department heads ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • At least an undergraduate degree in building science, civil engineering, M&E Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline within the real estate development, consulting or construction industry • At least 10 years of related work experience but with at least 5 years in real estate project development or management work and reporting at senior management position • Excellent communication, planning and directing skills • Comfortable to take on leadership roles and responsibilities topre-empt and overcome emerging economic challenges on the ground
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Report to the Property Development Director • Oversee projects across an array of different projects in Indochina • Oversee the design, construction, completion and operations of various project types ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • At least an undergraduate degree in Building Science, Civil Engineering, M&E Engineering, Architecture or a related discipline within the real estate development, consulting or construction industry • At least 5 years of related work experience but with at least 2 years in real estate project development as Project Manager • Very good communication, planning and management skills • Comfortable to take on leadership roles and responsibilities to pre-empt and overcome emerging economic challenges on the ground
QUANTITY SURVEYOR (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Handle estimation and cost control • Prepare tender document and manage the tendering process. Evaluate tenders • Prepare, administer and assess contract document. Review with its specifications and drawings and highlight any deviations and onerous clauses • Set up daily working plan and adjust in emergency situation • Assist Project Manager with project working budgets, and cash flow projection • Update Project CPR and review with the relevant Department Managers on a monthly basis • Assist Project manager with cost tracking and control • Monitor and process sub-contractors / suppliersmonthly payments • Assist Finance department to provide Finance report relative information ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • At least Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveyor or Civil Engineering, Construction Management and other related disciplines • At least 3 - 5 years experiences in Quantity Surveyor function, experience in construction industry • Familiar with management standard and regulations in this industry • Knowledgeable of Building Material Market • Familiar with project cost market and market prices of materials and equipment • Good command of both Lao and English
QA/QC ENGINEER (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Implement Consultants overall QA/QC Plan • Supervise Contractors QA/QC Procedures • Site Supervision • Commissioning ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • Diploma in Architecture/Engineering, or related fields (or equivalent actual on site work experience) • Minimum 5 years experience in construction field, especially in Hotel or Luxury Residence • Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft office, AutoCAD and relevant software • Able to work under pressure in a demanding environment • Able to work with people from different background / cultures • Good command of both Lao and English
LANDSCAPE MANAGER (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Oversee all aspects of landscaping • Develop or refine plans for the project, which may include ornamental plants, ground cover, and landscaping structures (e.g., walkways, water, and lighting) • Responsible for the coordination of outside contractors or internal assistance that may be needed • Estimate cost and negotiate prices for plants and equipment ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • At least an undergraduate degree in Architecture/Engineering or any related discipline • 5 years of direct experience in landscape leadership roles • Strong verbal and oral communication skills of both Lao and English • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
ARCHITECTURAL DESIGNER (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assist project team working on a variety of projects in various states of design and construction • Perform design and technical tasks requiring application of standard architectural techniques and knowledge • Produce construction documents in Autocad • Produce presentation drawings • Make Building Models • Develop Autocad 3d-modelling and rendering ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture • 1 to 3 years relevant experience • Good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop, Autocad and relevant software • Good oral and written skills in English • Effective communication, organization and presentation skills • Possess problem solving abilities and strong design skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging work environment is necessary * Candidates must submit electronic work sample or online portfolio
IN-HOUSE LEGAL COUNSEL (1) ÎÎ MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Advise the company on its legal rights and obligations • Review internal and external contracts and documentation • Take lead on negotiating terms of engagement with clients, contractors, investors • Liaise with external lawyers regarding company transactions and activities ÎÎ QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s Degree in Law • Hold a Lao lawyer License • Minimum 5 years working experience related to field • Excellent command of written and spoken English
