The existence of Circular and Elliptical Faults it´s normal at the Domain of Vertical Folds in the Central Iberian Zone (Spain, Almadén Area). Three of the Circular kind (FDC) are
recognize (and possibly a fourth and a fi fth), with the particularity that they are in alignent between two semiparallel lines of ENE-WSW orientation. Their characteristics are on his distensive movement of the inner wall, and his small cartographic size, about 1 or 2 Km.
This job comprises two differents ones, the first of Structural Geology and the second, to a great extent bases in the former part, that speakes of Oíl and Gas, bases in a cross-section, where there is a big trap in Upper Carboniferous materials. The origin of small circular distensive faults in the western area also is related with the expansion of Gas.
