The Gray Classic was founded in 2009 by Herb and Felicia Gray as a golf tournament. The main purpose of this four-day event is to raise community awareness and money to support the mentoring efforts of the 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte (“The 100”). The Gray Classic has become the major fundraising event for The 100, to date raising more than $736,000 to support the programs benefitting the youth in The 100 programs.
