What parts of the plant do we eat?
Our food comes from different parts of plants. Some vegetables, like carrots, are the roots of a plant. Green vegetables, like lettuce, are leaves. Onions are stems. What do you think? Do we eat flowers? Of course! Cauliflower and broccoli are flowers. We eat seeds too, like sweetcorn. And we eat lots of fruits.
