MYTHS ABOUT FAIRIES AND HEALERS – KALUSHARI Nadya Nikolova – senior teacher Radosveta Ivanova – senior teacher Kindergarten „Svetulka”, Shumen, Bulgaria It is created using the myth of the KALUSHARI (healers), which heal people, who have encountered fairies, using herbs. It is used in pre-school to educate 5-6 year old children. POSSIBLE GOALS: To showcase the spectre of human relationships, strength and belief in good. Dedication of the mother Development of the character Communication – listening The ability to understand in different roles and expression of a point of the emotions of others – view during disputes adults and children Orientation to the action Empathy Realization of the duality in people Nonverbal expression of Socialization Self-assessment of the feelings personality Subjectivity of time To do good without expecting anything in return Talent development Emotional recreation of the character Materials: Individual cardboards with pictures of different customs, myths and legends and cards with depicted props and symbols with them. Cardboards which are different for every child in order to avoid copying between them. Presentment: This myth requires feeling the emotions of the characters. The myth is about a sick child enchanted by a fairy /enchanted by Evil/. The mother does anything in her power to save her child. She does not lose FAITH and turns to the mystical KALUSHARI which help without expecting anything in return for their help. Game „GUESS WHAT I AM FEELING” Each child from the group expresses a chosen from him feeling or emotion with gestures. The rest of the children have to recreate the same feeling and emotional state. The game is used to relax the group, to bond the players and form the skill of freely expressing different human emotions. DISCUSSION: How did you feel when expressing different emotions?
