DNA The genre of my opening sequence is going to be an action/mystery. I have chosen to use these genres because they both go well with each other. I chose action as I would like a fast pace video with lots of shots but then thought of mystery as it can add tension to the video. Also by having a mystery, it can leave the audience on a high and them wanting to know more. For the opening sequence itself, I would base it upon following two friends who are taking pictures in London or in a city or in any other location as long as there’s lots of scenery. The tracking of the characters will give an overall introduction to them. I would need a couple of aerial shots in order to introduce the location. To do this I aim to go up some buildings and do some zooming shots and panning. After the following scenes, someone will drop down in a busy place and they take a photo of it. Little do they know when they get home they get a report on a radio or TV that someone was murdered in the city and they got a photo of someone doing it. In order for my opening scene to look good, I need a wide choice of shot types. I would like to start the scene with an establishing shot or a time-lapse. Then I would go straight into some following shots where I capture the movement of the characters from different areas. Such as different shot angles or from different heights. I.e. from a bus. Or an elevated view. This will give the effect of the camera being on a rig because it is a higher shot of them moving.
