This is part of a wider pond and waterway restoration scheme across the Park to improve biodiversity, water quality, erosion prevention and aesthetics of these formal and natural water ways across Hampton Court.

As an initial trial a 20m section of marginal planting was installed along Klon Dyke using planted coir rolls, fagots and backHampton Court staff installing coir rolls filling with site won silt taken from Klon Dyke. This backfilled area was planted with a diverse mix of marginal plants.
