The materials we use are designed to exceed the demands of daily life in the mountains and all our garments are quality controlled to ensure expert craftsmanship.
Planks RIDEdry20 is engineered to stand up to the tough demands of life in the backcountry. Now available in 3 layer and 2 layer, they are both made up of a nylon outer layer for extra durability with a peach matt finish to provide a soft handle. They have a bonded technical membrane with a 20,000mm waterproof and 20,000g/ m2 breathability rating. The 3 layer is finished with a soft mesh backing to keep it super lightweight. A solvent-free DWR coating has been applied to encourage water and snow to bead off the face fabric.
Planks RIDEdry15 is a 2 layer fabric, engineered for everyday ski performance and ultimate comfort. It’s made up of a nylon outer layer for extra durability with a dobby weave for a more street inspired look. It’s bonded to a technical membrane with a 15,000mm waterproof and 15,000g/ m2 breathability rating. A solvent-free DWR coating has been applied to encourage water and snow to bead off the face fabric.
Planks RIDEwarm is a synthetic down-like insulation that’s guaranteed to bring extra heat to any situation. Made from 100% polyester, it’s much quicker drying than regular down, super lightweight, extremely warm and packs down efficiently.
Planks RIDEsoft is a versatile 3 layer soft shell fabric that’s designed to work just as well in the streets as it does on the mountain. It’s made up of a polyester and spandex face fabric to give a soft handle and slight stretch. It has a bonded technical membrane with a 8,000mm waterproof and 5,000g/ m2 breathability rating. It is finished with a range of soft fleece backings for extra warmth and comfort. A solvent-free DWR coating has been applied to encourage water and snow to bead off the face fabric.

Planks RIDEfreshUV is a synthetic-based fabric, made from a mix of polyester and spandex to give it a four way stretch for ultimate comfort. The temperature regulating and breathable fibers naturally wick moisture away from the skin to keep you feeling warm and dry. It is finished with an antibacterial treatment that’s odour resistant to leave you smelling fresh even after those long hikes. Rated UPF 20 it works just as well in the sun as it does in the cold.
