item_Biaxial Fiberglass Soft torsional flex makes the board more forgiving. Biax glass is ideal for entry and jib boards which are easy to ride and mellow to press.
item_WOOD CORE + ABS The unique process of Endeavor’s factory where the ABS sidewall is sewn on to the wood core to ensure seamless accuracy of the bonding during pressing. Classic sidewalls increase the strength of the board while increasing the feeling of the snow under your feet. The split coloured sidewalls is a signature to Endeavor. item_POPLAR / QUARUBA WOOD CORE Super light weight and durable wood core combination with excellent flex memory. Quaruba is an African wood which is strong and very light weight. The four strips of Quaruba combined with Poplar make this premium core unique. item_Triaxial Fiberglass Stiff torsional flex makes the board aggressive and stable at high speeds. Triax glass is ideal for an advanced rider who expects their board to react when they push it.
item_RUBBER Rubber strips are used for bonding along the edges of the board to the fiberglass. Rubber also acts as an excellent dampening material, creating a smoother ride.
item_UV COATING A clear coat of UV is applied to all snowboards after pressing. The UV is either matte or glossy and protects the snowboard against fading due to UV rays.
item_ALUMINUM LOGO The Endeavor logo cast in aluminum adds an aesthetic value to the premium boards.
item_DIE CUT BASE Base sheet is knife cut into a graphic. This process often adds aesthetic value to the board, increasing the contrast of certain elements of the graphic.
item_SINTERED BASE The fastest base with high wax absorption, clear screenprinted or sublimated graphics, and very tough. Sintered bases are the premium standard.
item_ICP TOPSHEET This topsheet is used for screenprinting. Ink is applied in layers behind the material and often on top to give a unique look. Special epoxy inks are used to ensure bonding to the fiberglass.
item_SHOTGUN INSERTS 24 pack of inserts spaced closely together providing better incremental stance options.
item_CARBON FIBER STRIP Carbon Fiber adds “pop” to the snowboard and memory to the flex. The different strip combinations depends on the use. V’s in the nose and tail give the board snap. The X across the middle of the board provides torsional stiffness, giving you stability at high speeds.
item_EXTRUDED BASE Vibrant colours and easy to repair, this base is quick in all conditions. Although regular waxing is recommended, the extruded base is the most versatile base on the market.
item_STEEL EDGE The steel edge wraps the entire snowboard, providing the key contact point while on snow. item_ATX TOPSHEET This topsheet is used for sublimation. The graphic is printed on special sublimation paper. The sublimation paper is placed on the ATX material and put into an oven where the graphic is heat transferred on to the material at 180 degrees celcius.
item_KEVLAR PADS Kevlar pads are placed strategically around the binding area to increase the durability and strength of this region. Bindings are often the cause of board breaks due to their hard angles. These pads will provide strength against this.

Boyfriend Twin Women’s Freestyle Snowboard.
The Boyfriend snowboard is new to Endeavor for 2009 and it’s off the hook. The flex, shape, and feel of this board are tailored for the female rider; no longer do they have to steal their boyfriends boards out of their closet to ride a performance freestyle board. This board will take any girl anywhere she wants.
Nathalee Paolinelli, whose refuge is Commercial Drive Vancouver, designed the Boyfriend Series graphics. Nathalee’s art practice revolves around abstract shapes and her tools in designing this graphic were random shapes cut from paper scraps, which she then scanned and tweaked in illustrator. “My board was categorized as “The Boyfriend Series”. Derek Stenning, a Vancouver creative director for Next Level video games, came through strong on this graphic. “The dichotomy of a girl that is tough and aggressive but still has a strong feminine side was something I found interesting and something that would make a good framework to create a visual collage. The collage is constructed out of elements that symbolize the ideas of beauty and strength, compiled from magical, mythological, and cabalistic sources.” – Derek Stenning

02: THE INSPIRATION Endeavor asked me to create a design that encompassed the strength/beauty theme of the Diamond series, and that was visually inspired by James Jean’s Prada work. I turned to the symbolism of the Qabala, and the Tree of Life to address the theme, using Crowley’s qabalistic dictionary “777” to find the visual elements to build the image. The top half is composed elements from the sixth sephirah Tiphareth, representing the ideas of beauty and harmony. The lower half is the fifth sephirah, Geburah, representing strength and severity. In keeping with the visual inspiration the image was created with hand drawn line work with scanned in water colour washes and photoshop to add hits of colour.

03. DEREK STENNING Derek Stenning is a Vancouver based art director currently working at Next Level Games. His strengths are conceptual drawings; bringing an idea to life using his sketch pad. For the Diamond Series, Derek drew the topsheet and bases and added watercolour hits to bring the drawing life.

Colour Twin Men’s Freestyle Snowboard.
The Colour snowboard is a freestyle jib board – it’s basically a skateboard designed for the snow. This board is the softest board in the Endeavor collection. The flex combined with the twin tip ensures that this board can take on and destroy any park. Just ask any kid killin’ it in the park and they will assure you that the Colour lives up to it’s reputation.
Nathan Mathews, Endeavor’s resident artist, designed the Colour Series graphics. The graphic style was a throwback to 1970s Olympic icons and posters. Bright and poppy colours mixed with geometrical shapes makes this board a stand out graphic.

Guerrilla Directional Men’s Freestyle Snowboard.
The Guerrilla snowboard was designed for people who love to ride. It is a directional freestyle board that allows any rider to hit everything on the way down the hill – cliffs, park jumps, powder, ice, rails…the Guerrilla can handle it.
Tim Barnard who resides in Montreal designed the Guerrilla Series graphics. The graphics were inspired by his artwork “The 5 Horseman”. Tim’s unique black and white cartoon collage style has brought him much worldwide acclaim. “The five black and white topsheet drawings were pulled from large pieces of work I did with marker on MDF. The bases of each board is a new camouflage pattern that was a first for me and exclusive to Endeavor.” – Tim Barnard

05: THOMAS “MAROK� MARECKI Marok is a Berlin based artist and publisher of culture magazine Lodown. Marok creates in all types of mediums and constantly evolves his style. He has had various gallery showings and worked on design projects with other brands such as WE (headphones) and Nike (AF1). 06: THE INSPIRATION Marok pulled out his library of mid century design books to create the topsheet collages. Icons from different cultures and eras were used to create this exclusive design. The base contrasts these classic icons with an electro futuristic theme.

Next Directional Men’s Freeride Snowboard.
The Next snowboard returns to the line as an all mountain directional board tailored for riders who know how to use and work a performance board. It is precise, fast, and nimble on all terrain. The slight taper in the shape of this board enables riders to float in powder. With that said, it is ironic that this taper also helped Jake Koia assault the 80 foot quarter pipe at the Artic Challenge. The Next seriously is the Next best board to hit the mountain.
From concert posters for Pantera, Pink Floyd, and Pearl Jam to politically charged fine art pieces, Cleveland-based artist Derek Hess has tested the waters of both the music and art world for over 15 years. Derek collaborated with Endeavor on the Next series, using his piece titled “Hemorrhage”, a dark piece about an open wound that won’t heal due to the lack of closure.

Jeff Hamada got down on the graphic again for this series. His theme was based on destruction and as the graphic evolved, we added the element of space. Each board is named after space shuttle disasters: Apollo, Columbia, Soyuz, Challenger, and X153.

Roots Twin Men’s Freestyle Snowboard.
The Roots is a twin board tailored for aggressive freestyle riders. You have to get in fast or live in Japan to rock this board, as it is only found in Japanese stores and in limited quantities elsewhere. Shingo Kawano is the driving force behind this board and has contributed his style to its development.

02: TEAM ENDORSED Johnny Lyall has been testing the RC boards this season and gives them a thumbs up. “I rode the Live 156 all over the mountain and loved how easy it was to mess around on. I still had pop because the board is the same construction, but it was mellower riding in pow because my back leg didn’t have to do all the work.”
