As one of the important traffic nodes in Haidian District, Shangqing Bridge has a large daily traffic flow. At the same time, the Shangqingqiao area is also a high-risk area for waterlogging in Beijing, and its drainage capacity is weak, which can easily cause water accumulation on the roads, posing a great threat to traffic and personnel safety. Therefore, in this design, according to different topographical structures, different drainage and seepage methods are adopted according to local conditions, and the collected rainwater is used for plant watering. Finally, redesign the green space function according to the different types of surrounding land use, and provide a reasonable space for people's leisure and entertainment on the basis of satisfying the relief of waterlogging.

Water accumulation in lowlying terrain is often found at intersections, which will affect the passage of people and vehicles, but the harm is relatively small.
